Is it possible to get that info using a smartphone? I've tried
on my iPhone, but the mobile version of the wot site doesn't
seem to allow for looking up stats.

The info comes from wotinfo.net.
Go there and select "calculate Xbox efficiency." Enter your user
name in the space and it will say user not found. BUT it will
start tracking your stats the next time you play and then moving
forward.
It's not perfect but it is the best we got so far.
