That's my understanding, and it's cross-platform play!!!! , read
the post again, predownload the 10th, play the 11-12th , get the
tanks , the other goodies....as long as you play during the
times set in that post, in my original post below....

I came across this on the WoT Forum and thought it would be good
to post here:
For people who may be at work when WOT for X1 is released and
can't wait till they get home (or have very slow download
speeds).
Make sure your Xbox 1 is set to "Instant On" and "Download
Updates and Purchases Automatically"
You can then use the Xbox One Smartglass App on your phone to
download WOT.
Launch the app, search for WOT and click download (or get for
free), confirm the transaction and that's all there is to it.
It will basically tell your Xbox to start the download (and with
"instant on", it will fire up remotely and start downloading the
game, therefore hopefully downloading the game while you work!

Did they say when we can start the download? I would like to
launch it before going to work.....I know most people will
understand your instructions, but with my lack of computer/tech
understanding it looks like Babylonian to me :sad:

I think that someone else posted that if you Pin it to your Xbox
one "desktop" and leave your One on, it will auto download as
well.

OK, XBone setup....
App on phone.....
Now if I can only get cell reception as I'll be out of town this
weekend fishing in the ocean!!
If it works one of my boys is going to log on and play a game so
I don't miss out on any freebees.

I hope pinning it will start the download, because I hear that
some of the ST took almost 5 hrs to download. :peace:

Pinning it to the dashboard does not automatically start
downloading it, had to start it before I left for work this
morning.

Yea, downloading it NOW , 16.08 GB.... and you need to download
bonus tank and there are 3, new Xbox One Founders tanks, bundles
for purchase also, Assault pack, U.S. TIER 7 med., T95E2 TANK
,30 days Prem time , special emblem, and a Vanguard pack , with
FRENCH AMX Chaffe light tank, 7 days prem time, special emblem
also,and / or the Battalion pack both tanks plus a Tier 3 U.S.
Tank all new MTLS-1G14... so , bust out those credit cards,
kiddies...away we go....haha... :headbang:
Update: download took just under 3 hours...
