Yes. based on her post she expressed an interest. To that end I
have volunteered her and her cookies to lead team 2 to glorious
victory over the evil neo-pacifistic Jar-Jar Binks lovers team
1. If she says no -- take away her cookies.

Awesome War...great news... :beer:...the Saturday Events are a
blast...win or lose...(did I mention I was 0-2..LOL) and I for
one am thrilled they will continue and glad to see that you will
remain at the helm... :celebrate:
I had a feeling that there was going to be some drama over this
as the conversation(s) over the two distinctly different events
overlapped which lead to much confusion/misunderstanding. I am
sure that the main focus of the clan will remain a "social"
affair (which suits me as I am not a good enough player to be
involved in the Clan Wars).
I am equally sure the plan is to have the "Clan War Team" and
their practice sessions/training events etc. as just another
aspect/event which the clan is involved in, and we need our very
best players to represent us to the international community....
So group hug...much love all around...and let's move on...

I have to say the reaction to this fine event has left a sour
taste in my mouth. Perhaps XBOX live isn't the place for some
people here if you are going to be butthurt over a friendly
competition. This is the kind of response you expect from people
that complain to the principal of your childrens school when
your child loses a game of dodgeball in phys-ed class? In
Ontario here they dropped competitive games from Phys-ed because
people were getting butt hurt and they didn't want to hurt
childrens self esteem by having some winners and losers in
phys-ed games. So they go through life and they get to the
'real' world where it is cut-throat to find a job and guess
what, they can't get a job because they were raised to be a
bunch of pussies. I recall going to watch my daughter in a track
and field competition and the one kid from her school lost and
the dad ran down to the track to console his daughter that just
lost and guess what, he started crying too. WTF? That is the
kind of thing we are seeing here with certain people in this
clan and guess what, it ruins it for everyone.
Seriously I want nothing to do with this. Warsteiner, I had a
lot of fun doing these last two events with you. You did a great
job pulling all of this together, it was fun. I won't be
participating any more in these as I don't want to hurt anyones
feelings when I blow up their virtual tanks.
I am going to be perfectly honest with everyone here. When I
announced I was quitting the clan last week it was exactly for
this reason and nothing else. The lack of competitive spirit to
the point where it was frowned upon just simply has me not
wanting to play within OFF. I was met with some harsh feedback
private message when I tried to help somebody that had no clue
what they were doing in battle. I won't go into specifics of
what who how when.
The thing that drew me into this clan in the first place was the
laid back attitude of the people I was platooning with before
joining. I was playing regularly with a group of people I
enjoyed playing with. I didn't need to join a clan to continue
doing that and I will keep you OFFers already on my friends list
and we can platoon anytime. If you don't like what I have
written and you want to remove me that's fine I won't be upset.
Go back to having your head in the sand. I am out of here.
Officially quitting the clan as of right now.

Not sure quitting is the best thing and hope you stay...don't
let the minority push you out...you are a valuable member of the
clan...hope you stay... but you need to do what's best for
you...

Thanks for the reply. That's exactly how I approached it as
well. Also, thanks for having my back on that last game on Prok.
We kinda stuck our necks out but it ended up paying off!!

Remy, there are two events....
The first, our inter-clan showdown, is competitive, but done the
way we do all of our inter-clan competitions - with humor, ball
breakin' and good fun. There is always an air of competitiveness
when it is OFF vs OFF, but there is also an underlying good
nature to these battles/events.
The second was a "call to arms" AND a brainstorming session for
people to discuss competitive gameplay outside of the inter-clan
battles.
Somehow these got interwoven in peoples minds it seems, and I
think that is where a lot of the confusion evolved.
All that being said, I do not think you need to change anything
you have said or done....
