I used to be 'average' before I had a rush of blood to the head
and decided to run both the US and Frenchie light tank lines.
Currently on the T21 and the ELC. Man, these tanks are kicking
my arse and my stats have dropped through the floor. Lights
maybe aren't for me, but I too far invested in XP, silver and
hours to just abandon them. Besides, the autoloaders beckon
:charge:

The grind on the line that leads to the T57 heavy isn't too bad
(except maybe the T54), but doing this and the ELC/Batchat 25t
is just asking for unusual punishment! :hitself:

Tip for the T21: I use it as a passive scout to start a match
(it has a 390 meter base view range) and then as a support
medium in the middle and later stages. It has great mobility
(not super fast, but very agile) and the gun is quite capable
most of the time. If you want to run them together sometime,
lemme know -- I LOVE my T21 and do quite well in it. (In fact,
the only tank in which I have unicum stats.)
Tip for the ELC: More people play this thing wrong than any
other tank in the game. They suiscout like morons, or go and
hunt arty way, way too early in the match. Play it as a TD that
can get into good spots at the start of a match, vs. just using
it as a true light, and it can be devastating. Just have an exit
plan due to the really long reload. (Also good practice for the
auto-loaders.)

I find that most of the time there's an inverse relation between
the "self-assessed skill level" of these pros versus their
actual skill (re. their stats). I have had several comments
thrown at me during battles that made me doubt myself early on,
UNTIL I found the wonderful WOT stats page.
Now I make sure to note the GT and check their stats to gauge
the tone on my response. Like any game, some are naturally
gifted, some work hard and improve, some play just for fun, and
some will always suck no matter how many games they play. It's
just the way it is. If only the latter would stop trying to
impart their wisdom on the rest of us. :old:

It's just been a rough week of tanking, to be honest. Normally
reliable tanks aren't working for me and new tanks are just
kicking me square in the metaphorical nuts. Feel like a total
n00b again.
