Here is the caveat....
Team Training charges for ammo and consumable reloading but not
repairs.... NO silvers or XP will be earned.... So it will be a
net loss of silver,.......unless....... you use PZV/IV and all
you do is ramming damage........ A Pz V/IV demolition derby!!!!

That is their concern but if it was net zero I don't think there
would be much of a reason for the lemmings to be in the training
rooms.
Edit: I hadn't realized they made repairs free. I believe
originally they were going to charge for those. That makes it
alittle less painful.
