Can't really add any one point to this thread that hasn't
already been said, except Thank You from Me to everyone for
being who you are. It's that which makes the game way more fun!

You are all an exceptional crew to help row TOGS through the
reds... Seriously THANK YOU to everyone in OFF being exactly who
you are, never give in... never surrender!!
Or as my Grandfather used to tell me, the journey of life is not
the destination, it is the friends and acquaintances you share
it with along the way :thankyou:

As someone you has had some issues in the past with multiplayer
games, I have found this group so much fun. No politics, no
personal insulting and always welcoming atmosphere. it took me 6
months to finally platoon with some of you and I should have not
waited. My concerns were unwarranted. Yes, I was around last
summer when things got a little interesting, but it was just a
very small blimp on the radar.
Now that summer is up on us I will not be playing as much as I
love the outdoors and I just got my RV out of mothballs. I will
try and jump in on a 5V5 when I can to keep my tanking skills
honed and to see how everyone is doing. This is great Clan and
thanks to all of you that help keep it running and allow us old
farts and fogies to blowup reds together. :salute:

I could not agree more with the previous points made before me
in this thread. Thanks for making me feel welcome people, It's
just a shame about the timezone differences between myself in UK
and my US friends, stopping me from playing allongside some of
you.

Just got my One Year Badge here on the Forum. :medal:
Hard to believe it's been a year!
Like TKE, I was looking for people that were more my age and
found a posting on the main forum about people looking for
others to platoon with. I told my husband that I felt like I was
posting a personal ad but posted anyway.
My first friend request from the post was SgtEhrenfried.
I was a little hesitant to platoon because 1) I didn't know him
2) I was still fairly new to the game and didn't want to make a
complete fool of myself but I worked up the courage and did join
him in a few matches.
I enjoyed our games and decided to check his postings on the
forum. That's where I seen that he had posted on the OFF Clan
Thread.
An older clan? Hmmmm. No stats prerequisite? Even better!
My husband had already joined the Iron Pirates and I knew I
wouldn't be joining them as they focused more on stats and I was
no where near their minimum.
So, I figured what's the harm. Only one problem. I wasn't quite
40 yet.
I went ahead and posted that I was interested in joining the
clan told them my age and said that if I needed to wait until
November for when I turn 40 I understood. I received a message
from robertthred that I was approved along with a friend request
and the rest they say is history!
I have enjoyed being a part of this clan! We've had our rough
patches through the year. Only once have I thought of leaving
but that was due to one person in the clan and I wasn't going to
let one person ruin my fun in this clan. I'm so glad I stayed!
I've enjoyed my time platooning with a lot of you. Some I
haven't had the pleasure due to schedule conflicts but you never
know when or where I will pop up :hiding:

I just got my One Year badge and recently got my 1000th post
badge......I didn't, however, see a corresponding raise in my
silver or gold though?!?!
Just kidding, of course!!
They real payment is having been in this clan for a year. I
consider this one of the best things ever to happen to me. I
know that sounds somewhat pathetic, but that's the facts,
Jack!!!
Thanks to all for making this a great group to belong to!
