Thunder Pack Thursday
Host: XBattleAxeX
Time: 9PM - 11PM EDT
Tiers: II - X
You as a platoon will decide what tanks to run that complement
each other as you take down the Enemy Team!
Thunder across the battlefield in packs of PZ V/IV's or KV2s.
Torment the Reds with a pack of PZ III C's or mix it up with
your KV-1S, Fury, T-34-88 and Hellcat pack!
The Possibilities are endless and the choice is up to YOU!

Another combo I've seen people run that can rek foolz: 5
Ltraktors. Total devastation.

More honestly, this is a fantastic idea for an event. (Would
sign up, but the wifey has something to do tonight, so not 100%
sure when/if I can get on.)
Was running solo one night and for three games (two on green,
thank god) I saw a platoon of 2 T69s + 2 AMX 50 100s + a quicker
TD (e.g., a JPII) or an arty (40/43) and just DESTROY people.
The T69s would focus fire and clip out someone, then while they
reloaded the 50 100s would clip someone, and back and forth like
that, while the TD or arty provided covering fire.
'Twas pretty damn impressive.

I am definitely going to pick up the AMX 50 100. For most of
the world championships matches they would run 3 or 4 AMX 50
100s and 3 or 4 IS-3s with an AMX 12t. The heavies giving cover
to the AMXs during reload..... major focused fire. :ammo:

I'm always hunting down a T69 to pair with when I run my AMX 50
100. The reload is a pain in the arse, but coordinating a
group of autoloaders with an arty as eye-in-the-sky is
definitely a way to bring some pain.
I've researched the Tier IX French heavy, but need to earn some
more scratch.
Blew it all on three new tanks and a lot of temp cammo. (Can't
just meander towards death without looking good!) :wink:

We had good games and bad. Didn't run a lot of pure tank wolf
packs as many of us didn't have one thing or another. (*ahem*
IceMaidend doesn't have a Matilda)
