To all new CMDR'S if you see me in game. I'd be happy to help.
Expect to earn 500 to a mill bounty hunting in an hr (if the
conditions are right). If not " don't fly without the re-bye" as
we say out in the black o7. Oh, oh there's another saying.....

Reached the posted location. Nice mining site! At Zebrowski and
setting up Adder for mining. Need room for collection limpet
controller but will have to give up one of the following if
possible: shields or discovery scanner? I carry a docking
computer because I am so lousy at landing so I will have to make
a choice, if possible between these two items. Have 4 bin
refinery and mining laser. Thinking of getting two mining
lasers.

Discovery scanner. You're not out exploring so you really don't
need it.

Depending on ship 2 mining laser are ok just means quicker
process but one is ok :bigsmile:
Drop scanner :bigsmile:
Drop docking computer :pray: you got to dock manually one day
even the best.
Keep shield :headbang: lots of droid s and when you dock
manually :worship:
You need collector controllet which can control 2 limpets or two
collector controller. I feel 2 collectors limpets out grabbing
ore is the minimum for effective mining. If you have any
Internal space a prospector we help.
Basic flow :nerd:
Fire prospector only mine P's over 15% content
Mine , collect . The small size refinery will mean a bit of
micro managment
I try and hook up if i can get on this weekend

( translation for you newbies > Palladium, Platinum and Painite
are the most valuable stuff to mine. )
To anyone interested in a very much sandbox non-handholding type
of Sci-Fi game, this might be a good game for you.
The learning curve is THE MOST DIFFICULT I've ever experienced,
made MUCH easier if you can talk to a experienced xbox party
member when trying to learn the basics of flight, docking,
navigation and combat etc.
Ps. there is gonna be a new version of the game called ED
Horizons very soon 3rd June, in this new version we will be able
to purchase 'buggys' ( one will need a ship big enuff to carry
the land vehicles, which in itself may take new players awhile
to earn enuff ingame credits to buy a big enuff ship ) and
drive around on certain worlds doing various missions.

Thank you all for the patient advice. I will look for you when I
am online. I don't want to hamper the team, so I will try some
solo practice. Need to get better at evading pirates. I am also
willing to forgo the my mining layout to do security for anyone
mining. I cannot afford anything beyond my Adder and still equip
it, so would an Eagle be ok for protection of miners?

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME UNTIL ELITE DANGEROUS HORIZONS has been
released on the 3rd June, the Horizons version has ( massive and
long awaited )the surface landing content.
Ps, we have relocated back to HIP 16607 as our new home has
Pristine reserves, Metalic ( the best type, so Iam told by my
mining buddies,
also HIP 16607 is a High Tech system. I believe best prices can
be attained for trade and refined material, also nearly all
ships and a wider range of ship modules are available to
purchase at the local ( cant remember the name ) Coriolis ( type
of star port ).
