Damn you Wargaming! Now I have to work another day of overtime,
so I can get the money, to buy the gold, to have one of the
tanks I most regretted missing originally...plus...the
SU-122-44! Special KV-5 only op which gives 1 day premium and
100,000 silver.

already sitting in my garage this morning...only got a single
game it it tho...due to the fact the opposing team had FOUR (4)
artys !!!!!
What a disaster that was a 5am in the morning...

Been hoarding gold for a couple of months now and decided to buy
this monster after seeing this:

This is a fun tank to drive and I can just imagine a platoon of
OFF KV-5 wreaking havoc. Played seven games and even a loss,
with premium and that 1.25 bonus, netted me at least 75K. High
of 105K. Pretty good sniper even if there are naysayers. If you
follow a few heavies or mediums in high tier games you can fight
on the front line. If you like TOG you will like this tank.

Had to laugh at all the KV-5 owners on the main forum who tried
to "save" everyone from getting this "lemon" of a tank.....
:troll:
This thing is great. The only bad games I have had in it are
when my team is total fail....All my other games have been a
great time.
You have to push forward and get in a good urban or rocky area,
use large obstacles to cover you from arty, and sidescrape till
your hearts content....preferably with the R2D2 furthest from
the enemy.
The heavy spall liner makes arty hits little bounces. THis tank
never sees teir X arty....that is also awesome!
I love this beast. I play my KV-4 and KV-5
alternately.....keeps me in the right kind of combat mindset...I
think it is well, well, worth it!

i hate fighting the KV-5... i have to be sneaky to take them
