I think philosophically we are all in agreement...Hotdog is
correct running bumper to bumper, following the lemming train
methodology is not what we want/need to do...and I don't believe
that is what faethor is advocating...at least i hope not LOL.
The example Qxi gave of our domination of the flank and ultimate
decisive victory on Erlenburg was a perfect example of "sticking
together" as in, we were in constant, tactical communication, we
supported each others flanks, we were able to focus fire, keep
the OPFOR off balance and then...when the situation was to our
advantage we communicated and executed a perfect push in unison
from our respective positions and "stormed the castle" and
wiped out the remaining OPFOR...it was the best match of the
night and needs to become our norm as opposed to a fortunate
occurrence. I memory serves we did not lose any members of the
       platoon to boot.

No bumper to bumper for me...that's the lemmings trying to make
       lemmingade...and lemmingade sucks.
Every map is different, calling for different tactics and tanks.
This is why a good mix of tanks is important. This is super
simple basic stuff that all of us should be aware of by now.
Strength in numbers is pretty basic too.
Teamwork is defined as a group working together to achieve a
common goal. You cannot do that if everybody goes in separate
directions. You can split up in teams of 2 and 3, but as soon
as a single person goes on their own, they are lone wolfing.
This of course doesn't apply to arty and in some cases, light
       tanks.
Outside of arty, it doesn't matter how big the cannon is. You
support your platoon mates by being in somewhat close proximity
to them to assist with baiting or cleanup or
distraction/flanking. You can help to win or distract a red
from across the map, but you can't really help your buddy if
he's in trouble from across the map unless you are in arty.
When playing in a platoon, we must all strive to achieve the
common goal, regardless of what our individual outcome is. Most
of the time, winning is the objective, but sometimes it's
something else. A very good example of this is when we help
each other grind out the last few thousand for a new tank or
letting someone else take the kill shot on the last guy to get
       their top gun.

Sure would be nice if all 5 man teams stayed in the general
vicinity, then when our scout goes out and finds one of them,
we will all know the general area of the other 4, without even
have to look for them. Kind of sounds like lemming soup to
       me... :poke:

After the battle develops. I look at some battles as a puzzle,
what piece needs to be removed to get to the next piece.
Sometimes I think, how can I get behind the enemy and shoot them
from behind. These in route tactics and deploying movements may
be viewed as lone wolfing, but they work and if effective will
only help any team. someone might be crying about there top
gun, but this is tier 10, you play to win, nothing else matters
at this level. :gunning: Our goal is to punish the enemy as
severely as we can and make them pay for driving a tier 10 tank.
Eventually if effective you can force them to a different tier
and then run the game as top tier. This is only until the
Unicum teams unleash, but even then, if you cause a few losses
on those guys, they run. Every tier 10 tank needs to play to
its strengths, once the tank is learned. Each map should
dominate what each tank does until it thins out..
7 Vs 7 or when the tanks trim down changes things massively.
Much more support heavy game play and proximity, when its 15 vs
15 try to kill as many as you can with taking as little damage
as possible. At tier 10 most of the greatest players will be
found at the end game and are hard to kill.

Yes, I do believe we will be a force to reckoned with :charge:
       :salute:
[/quote]communication and tactics are key. being able to adapt
and overcome. battle plans help but field of fire is more
important than fire power so also is the rabbit to hounds
theory. its easy to run to the battle i know i do it to much but
harder to let it develope and adapting a winning strategy.
hotdogs right in observations.faethor is right about
communication and covering key tanks that can deal massive
damage but are vulnerible to enemy counter attack ie tds need
support- medium is good at supporting- lights the eyes of the
battlefield and can drive an opponant nutz- heavys the backbone
and artys are the least respected but can change the outcome of
the battle.all 4 are needed so its imposible to practice in 5
man platoons without the help of green teamates 15 man will
change that we all have to be patient until then. you all will
be a force to be recond with im sure. good luck
