My thinking was a platoon Saturday of just medium tens - great
10 mediums out there imho - I ran them last night and I had a
blast.
But I will join the Thursday group as well - practice makes
perfect.....well, practice helps - perfection aint gonna happen

Last night was super tough. 25% win rate. :thumbsdown:
T110E3 - 0 and 7
E50M - 0 and 1
T57 Heavy - 4 and 4
Triumph Cowboy was smart enough to cut his lossess and leave
early!

Tough night indeed.
Some bad teams for sure, but as a platoon of tier Xs, we should
have been the difference makers.
What do we need to improve on? We are all at least decent
tankers that put up some pretty sub par numbers at times. Here
are some things that might help us in the future:
1. Stay together
2. Tank selection
3. Try and communicate with our greens
4. Find the natural rhythm of the battle before committing or
do an aggressive push...one or the other
5. Stop making stupid decisions...lol
I'm not criticizing anybody, merely pointing out my own
shortcomings last night. I wouldn't mind hearing from the rest
of the people that played in both my platoon as well as the
other.

It was a pretty tough night. I made silver overall but I'd hate
to see how much my WN8 dropped!
I think Faethor's suggestions are valid, I know I violated #5 in
more than a couple games last night :hitself:

For the most part last night with our group, we ran together
where possible, with the exception of spawn issues and had a
decent W/L (5-4---at least for the short time I played).
We did not go to game chat however..... although it may not have
made too much of a difference due to the large number of Tier X
platoons last night. If they don't game chat then it is moot.

Tier X experience and time playing together....
I do think tank selection is a big thing, however, at least some
of this is map dependent. For example there is a huge
difference in the effectiveness of my FV4202 on Sand River vs.
Ensk-War. Now, maybe some of this is my playstyle/ skill set,
but some tanks are more effective on certain maps.

games strong...hit a slump...then bounced back to just above
.500 ball.

I tend to just jump out there (alone more often than not...see #
1 Stick together...) and then proceed to get my ACE handed to
me... :scream:
I need to be more patient, let things develop a little...and
then engage...
and I am constantly doing number 5 it seems... :hitself:
