Wow, the display in that last pic looks like a lot of 16th
(pre-Flint lock) -17th century examples. That is an awesome
collection! Someday, Diana and I would like to visit the
National Firearms Museum in VA. And the Bovington Tank Museum,
of course. Thanks for sharing that!

Don't forget the Sporting Arms Museum in Springfield, MO and the
mini one at the Whittington Center in Raton, NM . They're
basically an extension of the the National, they're just a
little more specific and give the National more room since they
don't have enough space to begin with.

Yes it did MickeyG . I live less than 50 minutes away from it ,
but had to ask fellow workers if it did then looked it up for
more info .

I am 10 minutes from the NRA National Firearms Museum in
Fairfax, VA - it is a great display. I went when it first opened
and as I have heard it is much better today. Plus, about 1.5
hours away is the Aberdeen Proving Grounds (in Aberdeen, MD,
surprise, surprise), which besides a so-so military vehicle
display has a very good military arms museum.
Let me know when you and Diana are flying in!!!
