Pz 1 C -- The "C" is for "Cheesedick"

I think we can all agree that suiscouts suck.
BUT ... I think we can all also agree that there's a difference
between suiscouting and sowing confusion with a well-timed
swarm, especially when you're tier III light tanks in tier V
battles.
Watsteiner has dubbed the latter the "The Cheesedick Platoon"
concept, and while he can give more details on the origin myth
surrounding this strategy, here's the basics:
Step 1: Get a platoon of Pz 1 Cs together. A Locust or two is
fine, but it really works best with these. (Run 105 octane and
chocolate for 10% more lulz.)
Step 2: Once the game starts, the ENTIRE PLATOON drives like
Stevie Wonder on meth, zig-zagging at full speed straight toward
the enemy flag and any artillery, all while ignoring everything
it can't damage.
Step 3: Laugh maniacally as pretty much the entire red team
comes after you. Arty rarely survives this onslaught and
lightly-armored TDs can also be annihilated. (And even A-20s, as
a trio of them found out last night. :troll: )
Now, the odds of surviving this are ... well, they pretty much
don't exist. You will most likely die a fiery death and your k/d
and survival stats will take a beating. Thus, you'll need to
decide of the absurd amount of fun this provides outweighs your
desire to have good stats.
But what we're finding is that, more often than not, this
actually works!! So many reds (and let's admit it -- most of
them are n00bs) spend so much time coming after us that it gives
our team time to get into advantageous positions and take them
out. Not always, and not on all maps. (Prok, for example, is
tough, as your team won't have shots on people you spot on the
other side. Something to consider for next time.)
So, yes -- the Pz 1 C is now officially the Pz 1 Cheesedick.
Hopefully, we can find a night for Warsteiner to lead a platoon
of Cheesedickers performing massive amount of cheesedickery
because it is an absurd amount of fun.

I was privileged to be in the original Cheesedicks. Haven't had
that much fun playing a game in a long time.
:rolf:
The few games where we were the sole survivors, capping against
a larger bunch of Reds were worth the quick deaths when we
failed. Pretty sure our Cheesy win rate was over 50%.

Oh hell... I'm buying it.
I was with you guys too and my Pz III A was pretty good about
keeping up.
I kept telling myself yes you are a bigger target but you're 50
mm is hitting harder.
Still, I was a bit slower with less armor and stuck out like a
sore thumb so...my III A is going to have to sit in the garage.
:white flag:

Proud to be O.C. (Original Cheesedick)
I haven't had this much fun playing tanks in a while. Would like
to try this out with other tanks just to see if we get the same
result. :rolf:

It is a fantastic tactic though it sometimes may be better to
delay the launch of the cheesedick assault for when the reds are
dispersed, especially in maps with high cover.
I'm keen if anyone is doing tier 5 - PZV/IV

okay? :troll:
