Cheesie... I think you are 100% right. But I also know it is not
the way I am wired. It is so hard to be patient, to take
calculated risks, to only stick my nose out when I know I have a
high probability at getting the shot off and not taking a hit
myself. It just isn't in my nature. So i think my win/survival
percentages are always going to be unrepresentative of my fun in
the game. But, if you wanna pick a fight, pick me... I'll throw
the first punch for ya and probably walk away with missing teeth
myself ;) ...

And by no means was I saying that my play style is the right way
to do it. I also wasn't saying that I AM ALL THAT. I hope I
didn't come across that way.

I would rather you let a random take the first punch, yet be
close enough to punchnhis attacker back
There is zero to be gained by being on the bloody edge of the
sword

I believe I have the most fun. I try hard to not think on the
"it" factor and the stat crap!

My top priorities are Damage and k/d ratio, I only have a 28%
survivability rate, but my K/d is 1.68 and DD/DR is 1.15 with a
win rate of 56% on almost 1800 Battles.

I play a little like Cheesie, where I often look to counter
punch and punch back hard. But this is pretty map dependent,
but almost all maps has some in your face component. Some maps
like El Haluf, I am pretty aggressive and love to push the hill
(except when there are three artys on the OPFOR). Same for
Mali, esp assault, where I love to push the Left side on
Assault.

Cheesie what a great point! My win percentage is not that good,
but I do a good amount of damage and usually get a kill or two.
Of course since I was new to WOT it took me about 3k games just
to learn what to do and what not to do. I did not have the
luxury of some of knowing all the tips and techniques. I usually
finish near the top now. Sometimes I feel like a workhorse but
have gotten better at survival. When I platoon with OFFers we
usually do pretty well as I feel I'm a good team player and
supporter and try to play smart. JMO.

It's funny, all these points about how you should play... And I
know them all... But can't help myself from throwing the first
punch. LOL

My priorities depend on what I'm driving. If I'm in a medium
it's spot/damage/kill/win. If in a heavy it's damage/kill/win.
Same with TD. Arty is kill/kill/kill. Damage and killing let you
break even. Winning let's you progress.
