wow....thats just some sad news. even tho he was in his 80s ,
hes just one of those guys you never really thought hed ever
die.
growing up and watching star trek late at night with my father
will always be one of my favorite memories. very very sad !

Strange this is hitting me kinda like the loss of a family
member. I know its a bit silly to feel that way but still.
Every afternoon after school from 1975-1977 I'd flip on the TV
turn it to WJKS and Trek was there as I did my chores before my
Mom and the rest of the family came home.
I remember 77 because after that the knob broke and we only had
CBS for two years after the pliers broke off the plastic
spindle.
Grrrr
Anyway roll out folks. Earn those Silver bonuses and remember
Nimoy.
BTW Real Dick move Xbox did putting every show they have him on
for purchase. They should offer it for free this weekend as a
way to remember him, not try and milk more cash off of our loss.

His life was a great one. Although I'm not a fan of Star Trek,
he just had a certain dignity that is rare in this world & I
really liked the guy.
Unfortunately he died on my birthday so will never forget his
passing. that's two really great men who died on the 27th of
Feb.
Spike Milligan & Leonard Nimoy.
I will remember you both with a smile & I feel the world is that
bit less interesting with you both gone.

It was also my Mother in Law's birthday...she just passed a few
months ago.
It was my favorite Uncle's birthday too
Other famous people who died on the 27th include Ivan Pavlov and
Fred Rogers
wait, what am I talkin' 'bout Willis? ohcrap i'm old...what
next, perusing the daily obituaries?? :old:
