The maps that will be updated include:
Arctic Region -- HUGE changes to this one, with most of the
water-filled canyons removed (RUGGER will no longer be able to
drown himself so easily) and MANY more avenues for attack. The
north spawn might still have an advantage, but this map will be
a LOT more enjoyable.
Cliff -- Big changes include two ways up to the lighthouse (can
get there from the south easier) and a road that goes from the
horseshoe in the valley up to the plateu where the encounter
circle is.
El Halluf -- MASSIVE changes; north pass is wider, flatter, and
with more openings for side shots; town in valley is now on
raised plateau, so you can get down there without a near 100%
chance of death. This one is the one that I wanted changed the
most. So very happy!!
Ensk -- Unless they made this 1000 meters square it'll still
suck. :sceptic:
Erlenberg -- Minor change to the Corner of Fail...I think.
Fisherman's Bay -- Some terrain changes; a few more swales and
rocks for cover.
Karelia -- Not really sure what changed on this one.
Komarin -- Once again, HUGE changes; most water is gone (again,
RUGGER will enjoy this), there are multiple paths, the Forest of
Campiness has been thinned, and the island is much more viable
thanks to berms on both sides that will offer protection. (This,
Halluf and Artctic have the most changes.)
Malinovka -- There is now a ditch at the top of the hill that
you can either get hull down behind, or even hide behind if
small enough. They also moved the cap circle for Assault and
Encounter modes.
Mines -- Not sure what changed ... ???
Province -- Not sure what could change. :-)
Redshire -- Tweaked some terrain features
South Coast -- Again, not sure what they did considering this is
a newer map anyway.
Old and new versions of many of these can be found here

and here

(Note
that not every map at these links was changed on 360).
Good game, WG!!!

Take that Pershing of yours and run back and forth in the
middle. You got lots of cover using the bridge piers and trains
on the north or the rolling terrain on the south. Great fun
spotting and just being a general nuisance. Can't sit in one
spot for very long though and always have to watch your 3 and 6
o'clock.

Actually Jim TKE did this very informative update. Though it
sounds like it could called the "OldRugger Approved
Update"....sounds like I can dismount the snorkel on all of my
tanks now....hmm, what to replace it with? Cloak of
Invisibility? Anti-Arty Cimmerian Shield?

Got to play the new Mali Assault map this morning (Attacking)...
I am liking the changes to the assault flag. This one really
favors the defenders though since there is a TON of open ground
between you and the flag. The defenders have a bunch of
buildings to use as cover which makes it difficult. You need
someone with really good spotting range to light defenders up
otherwise you could be screwed. We did win though.
