Its like using a shotgun to kill a mosquito. But
understandable. When I get killed by arty while flying full
speed across the map, I always send a "good shot" message.

You don't need to change your GT to avoid arty... just change
your tank. Drive a light tank, you will never be hit by an
arty, and you will kill so many of them you will start to feel
badly for them (maybe?). You could build a your whole WoT
career around killing arty.
