xxxFumpsxxx infamous seal clubbing thread & some advice

first a link to the infamous thread for those that haven't seen
it.
HTML http://forum.worldoftanksxbox360edition.com/index.php?/topic/72220-being-seal-clubbed-is-really-annoying/page__p__1301082__hl__+xxxfumpsxxx#entry1301082
First my 2 cents of advice after having read nearly the entire
thread end-to-end (skimmed a few posts). xxxFumpsxxx, with that
bad digit on your left hand my advice is to stay away from fast
light/medium tanks for now and instead work on the British Heavy
& TD line or the American medium Shermans (or arty if you like
to sit still and rain death from above). The British Heavy/TD's
are slower and more heavily armored than their counter parts
from other nations so if you make a mistake with the LS while
driving or trying to peek around a corner you won't end up in
the lake or completely exposed as easily and in a brawl you
won't be wrecked in 2-3 shots giving you more time to maneuver.
(AT-8 & AT-7 two of my favorite tanks in the game)
Now for a snarky comment about seal clubbing...... isn't "seal
clubbing" exactly what all those Tier X only players are doing?
It's not like they are going to run into an 11 or 12 on the
battle field, so when they match up against Tier VIII's & Tier
IX's like my M103 with the stock Tier VI gun (only a slight
exaggeration) it's just like that seasoned player going down to
Tier I-II but worse because my M103 isn't penning an E-100 if it
fell on top of it. <object width="450" height="18 ....rant
done
oh, and regarding O.F.F. Seal Clubbing night....... it's our
right as the "old folks" to KICK THOSE KIDS OFF OUR LAWN :old:

Oh, ^this^, so very much! :charge:
I currently am going up the British Heavy line (intermittent
grinding of Church VII), and have stopped (for a while) at Tier
5 on the Brit TD line - love that AT-2! What SPF says is true -
these tanks, because they are so slow (20kph top speed), are
forgiving when maneuvering, and have very good armor. The only
thing they are not forgiving of is if you decide to change
direction, say, to the other side of the map after starting in
the opposite direction lol
In other words, once you commit to a direction, that's pretty
much it. I usually stay in the general area of the green's cap
circle in a standard battle, or head for the cap circle if it's
encounter. In an Assult battle, it depends on if we're assulting
or defending: if assulting, I head for the circle. If defending,
I stay close until we have a comfortable lead, and then push up
a bit.

I just read that whole thread myself. First I am really proud
to be part of this clan. You all came off really well I
thought. I also thought that the criticisms by a particular
former clan member were addressed well.
I have a lot of games at low tiers. I'm not going to defend
that or explain my motives. I'm not embarrassed either. I
think tier III might actually be my favorite tier. The games
are fast and fun. WG lets me play whatever tier I want, so I
do. In fact the argument might be made that WG encourages
players to play all tiers. They gave away a tier II premium for
example, and premium tanks at lower tiers have higher crew EXP
bonuses. Also Its difficult to keep a positive silver balance
playing exclusively tier X.
I see that xxxfumpsxxx is a new member of the clan. Welcome!
Can somebody please explain scout MM to him before he buys a M5
Stuart or Luchs and has a heart attack. (like I did, once upon
a time)

Had one of those matches (Airfield) last nite in my Luchs...Tier
VII match lol Tried to make the best of it, got some spots, got
some pens on a Tiger's flank, tried to relocate (run away,
screaming like a little French girl), and promptly got blowed
up. Forgot to have an exit strategy :palm:

On Sunday I followed your advice and got myself the British tier
2 Universal carrier 2-pdr & played it for the day. loving it
already racked up 23 kills scoring 3,051 damage.
The accuracy & range is beyond what I'm used to so yes loving
giving the enemy a serious headache from afar.
Cheers for the advice, it has been followed & is much
appreciated.
