Founder Pack Update from Nyx - Purchase Window Shortened

Greetings Tankers!
Many of you have expressed concern about the Founders Pack Redux
packages that went on sale today. We've been listening to the
conversation among our players here on the forums, on social
media, and in support tickets.
First, it was never our intention to mislead or betray our loyal
fans who have been with us since the beginning. For those who
were upset by these packages, we sincerely apologize.
Before launch, we discussed the messaging surrounding the packs.
We wanted them to feel "special" without making them "never to
be sold again." When proofreading the original Founders Packs
descriptions, we decided to remove the word "exclusive" because
it was felt that this implied "never to be sold again" and we
knew this was not the case. The unique emblems WERE exclusive,
and those will not be available again.
We've used the same language to refer to specials in a
consistent manner throughout the year. We've always defined
"rare" as sold for a limited time, and never to move into the
tech tree. There are numerous tanks that we group into this
"rare" category, several of which (Fury, T-127, Tetrarch) have
already been sold more than once. We have attempted to use the
same terms in the same way regularly to avoid confusion.
Explanations aside, we recognize that any previous steps we took
were not adequate, since many people misunderstood. For this, we
are sincerely sorry.
We've also heard your concerns that a month-long special is too
long of a duration for a "rare" tank. In response to your
feedback, we've decided to shorten the sale from one month to
two weeks. Founder's 1 Redux, Founder's 2 Redux, and the Thank
You Pack will now be available through February 15 23:59
Pacific/February 16 7:59 UTC.

Has anyone who already owns these vehicles attempted to rebuy
the package, if so what did it cost since the tank value is
refunded? I ask because this does not always add up to what it
should but is fact pricier than it should be even with a
discounted tank.
I am reading some general forum banter about how to get the 500k
in silver for buying both packs but not sure is that is
smart....

I PM'd Lady O about this early yesterday. She stated that if
you attempted to rebuy the package the gold value of the tank
would be refunded. However, it could be possible that you would
lose the special emblem if you do. That hasn't been confirmed,
but better to err on the side of caution until we know.

Here is a great post on the costs to buy the pack if you already
have the tanks, this is a great deal even if you lose your
emblem.

(I actually sold my T-23 and then got it back in the
reinstatement program, so I already lost my emblem)

I for one don't like when the powers that be sell unique tanks
in founders packs. Certain tank were earned during special
events in beta and since. I for one earned my T 127 in the beta.
I had this Russian tank before the Russian tank line came out. I
was proud of the tank and it's capabilities when I used it well.
Just seems a shame when you earn something special and unique
and then it goes on sale.
