       Are they really an OFFer?

Don't know if it really matters but I think I have at least one
player I've friended who has that they are an OFFer in their
profile (why I accepted the friend request) but I'm pretty sure
they are not in OFF. I joined a party where they were saying
that they put OFF in their profile so they can find people to
       play with...
Does this matter? Not sure. Something for BoD and Staff to
       have a view on?

Check the members list here on the website. If that person is
really an OFFer, he'll show up there.

Also, If you can remember post their GT so that other members
will know about that person and can avoid them if they choose.

I will not friend anyone that, isn't on the forum and isn't at
least somewhat active. I figure if you aren't willing to at
least say Hi in your welcome thread you aren't here as a clan.

Anytime I get a FR I come over here to the forum and check to
see if they are an OFF member or not.

All the more reason why every member should have that in their
       profile or motto.

Goodblessings said the person did have it in their profile. This
person was passing himself off as an OFFer to find people to
       play with.

I know he had it in there, but it's still an ongoing issue with
OFFers not having it in their profile or motto. The clan
doesn't require a GT change, so this is the accepted form of
identifying each other and new players without having to go to
the members list every time we have a question.
If we can make it so the "real" OFFers make themselves
identifiable to other OFFers across the board, then we at least
have that part of it taken care of. It literally takes 10
seconds to do and we should all be encouraging all of the OFFers
we play with to have that in their profile/motto.
Goodblessings: Was it FluffyBunny? He runs a YOFF in his
profile/motto, which confuses some at times.
For those reading this that don't know how to do it, please just
       ask and someone can help.
