Whats on Tap for the Superbowl---Whatcha all eating?
By: oxidative stres Date: January 28, 2015, 12:10 pm

IN the sprit of the "What's War got on Tap" and the Super Bowl
coming up this weekend...... What are you all putting out to
eat. I have a bunch of unhealthy dips, wings, and finger food,
but I thought I would share a new recipe I will be trying.....
That and am open to see what others may be planning, so that I
may modify my menu!
I saw this Recipe on the Today show this morning for a Buffalo
Chicken Slow Cooker Dip:
Ingredients
•
•
Red Hot)
•
•
cooked and chopped (3 to 4 chicken breast halves or about 3 cups
chopped
•
•
Combine cream cheese, pepper sauce, and ranch or blue cheese
dressing and cheddar or mozzarella cheese in slow cooker. Cook
over low heat, until cheeses are melted, stirring frequently.
Mmmmm Mmmmmm Good!

Since Green Bay threw away their chance to be in the Superbowl
by allowing Seattle to have one of the biggest comebacks ever, I
will be having Brats and Beer.......minus the Brats! :1foryou:

We make a version of this all the time. IF you want a cheap
shortcut for the chicken, get the canned chicken ( tuna fish
like can). Speeds up the process. We make with both blue
cheese and ranch. Awesome stuff...very addicting!
Actually, took turkey out of freezer yesterday, gonna deep fry
the sucker... Kids love it.

I'm planning on making a souffle... I hope nobody deflates it
before the game. I will have to check it during halftime.
:troll:

I rarely do anything special...just never got into the whole
"party thing" around the Superbowl.
Probably just some chips and picante sauce and Bud Light Limes,
my usual football game meal.

That sounds awesome. I love me some etouffe, but it is nearly
impossible to get crawfish up in the Northeast.

[/quote]. If you're from the south, just drive north to where
Jefferson Davis ceded the Confederacy, then turn left. From the
north, drive south to where Abraham Lincoln accepted victory for
the union, then turn right. (Life is all about perspectives).
I'm 40 miles west of Richmond, Va. I'll give more specifics
when you're closer.
