What do you do BESIDES tanking...

Well, I do a little minor (amateur) graphics work, am also a(n
amateur) writer, and a(n amateur) photographer.

By day I am an operations manager of an environmental consulting
firm, by night I am a TANKER :child:. Outside of this I like
to golf and spend time with my kids.

I usually Golf about every other week, Ride my Yamaha FJR
Motorcycle here and there or Kayak the rivers looking for
Manatees, or just Fishing and enjoying a nice Margarita here in
Sunny Florida. :beer:

I was just looking at some of your photography and I wish that I
had that sort of eye, I love photography, but have a hard time
capturing what I would like. With my job, I have to take so
many factual pictures to identify issues (hundreds for an
individual site) that I think this makes you lose that touch.

Thank you. The only people I photograph is my daughter, most is
nature/landscape. And no digital for me, I like my old (as old
as I am) 35mm for all the 'fiddly bits'.

Good to see a few other Science Geeks out there :thumb:
I am an Environmental Toxicologist and run an Environmental
Analytical Lab at the Univ. of CT. Non-tanking spare time:
Renovate house, basketball/ volleyball, Grilling/ Smoking,
reading Fantasy and Sci-fi, Kids. Starting to get back into
scale models, I have a PzIV waiting to begin. (Any pro tips are
welcome!)

I used to develop all my own film/prints in my youth (an Uncle
taught me at 13 to do B&W and it was all uphill from there).
But I gotta say, the digital darkroom is a beautiful thing once
you get the hang of it, and no more smelling like stop
bath/fixer all day.
