M26 Pershing, I love this tank

Even though my K/D is a meager .80 I really love playing this
tank. Quick yet it still has enough armour that it can take a
beating. accurate gun I can snipe with and being able to hit on
the move is awesome. I nearly always in the top 5 when I play
it, now that I have it fully upgraded. I won't hesitate to run
it in tier IX platoons seeing I don't have one and normally hold
my own. I've got rammer and vertical stabilizer equipt and
saving silver for coated optics. This has become my go to tank
when I'm having a bad run.
Two battles both on Steppes. Each time running from the south
spawn and running to cover at G1

Got to cover and starting playing peek a boom with a Comet,Easy8
and KV-1S at E1 Killing the Comet. When I got some support, I
flanked to the right forcing the Easy8 and KV-1S into the
greens.
Rolling up to D2 I engaged a T29, AT8, Jumbo,AMX AC mle. 46 from
hulldown getting good side shots because the greens had their
shit together. I got a couple of shots into the side of the AT8
before it got to cover and disappeared. Told the gunner to
engage the Jumbo, tracking it, just to see it explode as I
reloaded. I started firing on the T29 and AMX hiding behind the
Jumbo wreckage, getting four or five rounds off. Next thing I
know I get rammed by the AT8. I didn't want to break cover and
have to deal it and the T29 so I sat there and put two rounds
into his cupola killing it. I don't think he was expecting that.
Popped out of cover getting a shot on the last Red the AMX.
Target destroyed cease fire.

Pretty much the same start as the above battle except the reds
had their shit together and we didn't. Lemming train to the
right and the reds scouts were aggressive. While I was shooting
it out with a Tiger, a AMX 13 75 swung around from behind
getting a couple into me before I nailed it for 3/4 of it health
and it took off. A fellow green pulled up and a tried the same
flanking move but red Super Pershing and Jagdtiger 8.8 had it
covered knocking me down to 50% before I got to cover behind the
ridge line. Or so I thought. The lemmings got decimated. by this
time it was 8 to 4. I got behind a rock and started engaging the
8.8 and S.P. but the were doing more damage to me than I was
them. I tried to get behind the S.P. but a AT15 had me pinned
from the other side. I got a shot into a 30.02M across the field
before the S.P. came around and killed me. :ammo:
Of course right after I died some idjit who died in the great
lemming massacre of 2014 started in on the you suck go back to
COD. LOL Another guy started laying into him in French and
broken English. I laughed and told him I'd compare scores with
him on the leader board. :arty:

Excellent play by play. I have that tank researched, just have
to spend the silver on it. Your post may help me pull the
trigger.

The biggest problem with the Pershing is a HORRIBLE stock gun.

One of my faves too swag. I managed just over ten thousand
spotting damage in mine in a tier 10 game on sand river.

I love the fully upgraded Pershing as well. It has one heck of a
view and radio range and is fairly tough.

It really seems like the perfect medium tank. It can do it all.

I did good in the pershing as wel.lIts a great tank if i
rememeber right i ran the inferior derp,Nothing like a derp to
the track.Just to set up a high speed drive by to the rear.If
you are lucky enough to catch them alone ,the ole R2 lock
function is great for the doe-si-doe.circle of death dance.To
the final package just so i could do some damage.But then it
came into its own.My pattons and pershing all hav about the same
stats.You want bad gun the 90mm on the t69 is mediocre but
efficient.They put that gun on the t54e1 for the 80,000 xp grind
to the 105mm at tier 9.Its not fun either,barely 160 pen try
that on an e75 or t95 jadgtiger or any other 9.Dont even think
of the tier 10's it faces every match.It bounces from the
sides.The rear isnt always possible so this is a long grind as a
spotter taking targets of opportunity LOL.

I finally got my Pershing unlocked and paid for yesterday, I'm
still on the stock gun but am going to play it til it's fully
upgraded because I have learned that you can not judge a tank
off it's stock equipment. So far though, I am loving this tank.
I kept the T20 because that is also a killer medium tank.

The t20 is one of the best in game lightning speed and a great
derp.Say good bye to all that ta2dflip.Even fully up-graded the
pershing is never going to be the tank the t20 is at tier.But
the pershing does hav its own strengths,speed on the other
hand.Not being one of them.Being the baby patton,It is great and
a precursor of the Pattons that follow.ROLL-OUT
