Alright....... I am a science geek :nerd: and run a few
environmental toxicology research labs at a New England
University with a couple of great basketball programs :medal:.
Some of my work deals with oxidative stres(s), which is
something used by the immune system as a way to attack and kill
bacteria. Plus like War, I thought Ox/ Oxi is something that
sounded pretty cool shortened.

I'm a volunteer CANWARN storm spotter for Environment Canada. We
report severe weather, funnel clouds and Tornadoes over HAM
radio. Similar to SKYWARN in the US, except our tornadoes are
usually smaller (thankfully). I liked StormFront better than
StormSpotter. And storm has turned out to be a good short form.

blue- when I was on a mod team for the ioncross team (Freelancer
mod) I helped with info cards. I was notorious for a particular
error on my first round of coding which led to a number of text
descriptions of weapons and equipment which included a blue box
in them. It only took this one instance to create a new name for
an error- bluebox move
bandit- the battalion I served in while stationed in Germany was
nicknamed the "Bandit Battalion" Elvis Presley was a "Bandit"
and our mess hall (dining facility) was named after him.
jim- my actual first name

LoL, some really great stories here and glad I could help get
the ball rolling on this one...
Ok, so my default XBL name was "RuttedSharkxxxxx" where "x" were
some random numbers I couldn't remember if my life depended on
it. So in the interest of being able to tell someone look for me
on XBL my name is "xxxx" I finally decided to change it. I
really wanted to go with Max_Rockatansky which I used to use for
MOH but since I knew most people would never remember it much
less be able to spell it I looked for something simpler. So in
the interest of K.I.S.S. I finally thought of FPS for First
Person Shooter which I'd say is my favorite genre since the
introduction of 3D gaming, and 92 is a tribute to Wolfenstein 3D
for it's roll in FPS gaming. I simply inverted FPS to SPF and
added zeros behind 92 until XBL was satisfied. Not sure I gave
much thought to SPF & sunscreen until after it was already
done..... oh well, I think I succeeded in creating an easy to
remember & identify name :thumb:
As a side note, my favorite beer happens to be Tucher (German)
and more specifically Dunkles hefe Weizen, but I enjoy all the
Tucher's I've had. What an incredible step up from the American
beers I was weened on. :beer:

oh, since picking up WoT I did think about changing my name to
Sgt Oddball in reference to Kelly's Heros but I think I've seen
an "oddball" in game and too easy for someone else to duplicate
since it's a popular enough classic movie.

From my Desert Trash teenage years in the Mojave. Mickeys Fine
Malt Liquor. We referred to the 12 oz containers as 'grenades'.
We thought we were real tough 'punks' cause we would burn cars,
shoot guns, ride dirt bikes and drink Mickeys out in the
desert... hahaha
