       Comet worth it?

I have the Cromwell, it's fast, it's fun. I die a lot but enjoy
flying around earning spotters points. Upgraded to the Comet.
It's slower, the gun is about the same(ish), and in higher tier
(sometimes 8) battles. My question is... Is the Centurion line
worth the pain of the Comet? Any opinion is helpful... Thanks
       guys.

I couldn't stand the comet until the final upgrade. Now, it is
a pretty fun tank to play. Not the sasme fun as the Cromwell,
which is top 3-4 on the fun meterr. Typical British tank, good
dpm , good pen. Overall, I like it better than the T20. The
centurion is even worse stock, but now, I like this one a lot.
The one to wasut for, so I am told is the centurion 7/1. I am
still building elite XP for that one

I also felt that there was big drop off in "fun" from the
Cromwell to the Comet. I've got to the final package on my
Comet. Its a fine tank, I've got no major complaints... I'm not
that good with it though. I have a feeling that when the 2 new
US lights get released, the Comet may have to be sold. Keeping
       the Cromwell forever.

       Medium tank: Centurion Mk. 7/1
  HTML http://forum.worldoftanksxbox360edition.com/index.php?/topic/42150-medium-tank-centurion-mk-71/
Someone on the WOT Forum asked similar question yesterday too.
Interesting opinions. Guess i'll grind it out. Appears the Comet
       is the painful one.
I do love the dpm on the British line but i couldn't handle the
slowness of their Heavies so I opted to give the Mediums a try.
Especially when that little Cromwell F'er was flying past me all
       the time.

I do enjoy playing my Centurion 1, can't sa the same for Cernig
(he refers to it as his cursed tank) but I have succes playing
it. Rammer, gld and wet ammo rack. The Centurion 7/1 is more
like a sniper with that awesome royal ordnance gun.

I did better in my Comet than in my Cromwell, so I'd say it was
worth it. It has good view range and a low profile, is fast
enough to flank and has a good enough gun to scare anyone who
finds it on their flank. It's not a charge out and dance with
the enemy tank like the Crommie, though - more a classic medium.
I had huge trouble with the Centurion at first - I'd come in the
top 3 on the team regularly, but on the losing team so my win
rate stank. Now I'm clawing that back and I still like my
"cursed tank" as a tank rather than a matchmaking anomaly.

       In a word: NO.NO.NO.NO.NO.NO.
IMHO, it is the worst tank in the game. Yes, worse than the
M3Lee, worse than the M5Stuart, etc, etc.
After 40+ games and a 21% win rate, I gave up and used 95K free
XP to rid myself of the abomination.
And I'm not the only one that feels this way:

Shard, thanks for the input. I might just leave it alone for a
bit and see if it is my playing style that is affected. I tend
to like to throw the first punch, and this tank is NOT one that
can hold up to that. Doesn't have a big enough hit and isn't
fast enough to get outta there after shooting.

Oh. I was going to try and get my Crusader->Cromwell done this
       week.
Now I think I'll wait - comparing it to the M3 Lee was the
kicker for me. I burned enough free XP on that boat to get me to
the T1 Heavy, then didn't feel like keeping it long enough to
       get an M4.

I respectfully disagree with Shard on the T32 Comet :troll:.
Pretty serviceable tank once you get the hang of it. It did
take me a while 50+ games or so.
