WoT Blitz on IPAD

I do not wish to take any time commitment from the clan on
another game, but I thought there might be some curiosity here.
I participated in the very short, like 2 weeks, of the WoT blitz
beta and the game is now out. The game is a ton of fun.
The functionality and skill set needed to play the game on IPAD
was a difficult transition for me but then it just comes to you,
and you start to love this game.
The key highlights are as follows:
1) All battles are 7v7 which means that if you are good at this
game, you can win the day on your own.
2) The maps are small and there is no arty, this game is all
about not being seen, and seeing before you are seen
3) From the zoom lens you see the tank and its weak spots, if
you cannot penetrate a location it shows on the enemy tank
surface as red, if you change ammo, the colors change to show
the new reality of your ability to penetrate.
4) Like PC, you can improve any tank via its internal lines, not
via "packages." Upgrades only cost XP and not silver also. If
you improve a gun, engine, track, or armor, it is there for you
on higher tanks. If you want to get the big gun before any
other upgrade....go for it! If you want the top engine with the
stock gun...boom you call.
I could go on and on. If they are any questions just ask me.
The game is definitely World of Tanks, yet it is so different.
They had a X5 weekend, and although it was not my intention, I
played it almost exclusively. It was a blast. A great change
up from XBOX and you can play it anywhere you are at.
I recommend the game but expect a learning curve. I was at 24%
wins through my first 100 games. Now at 500 games I am at 55%.
It took a grind of learning.
Ok, barely drove my new freedom, need to spend some time on the
XBOX this week, post update!

Thanks Turkey Son. Am very interested in your #3 comments since
I still am "all thumbs" with the zoom control.
As for #4, I have no experience with the PC version so I had to
discover the separate internal package upgrades.
Yes, I got on the iPAD WoT when it was first introduced but did
not have an opportunity this past weekend.

Then so much for work. I also have an Android tablet. WoT on
iPAD, xbox 360, and in near future(?) Android. No PC version
for me.

I use it when I need a "tank fix" and the kids have the xboxes
tied up.

Game is good fun. Takes a bit of adjustment to get used to the
controls. Sadly I use an old iphone 4s and the lag is brutal at
times :pissed: (Android user now). Can't wait for android
version :oversmoke:

Is any one playing this? I am on a trip and find it fun...but
by no means will it replace my 360. Is there on OFF clan for
this? Who plays for maybe platooning up with.

I played about 3k games on Blitz then went to the 360. The
mechanics are different and there used to be team killing. It's
ok but very frustrating to play, although I still like the
aiming mechanism better than the console versions..
