Rayek smiled and set himself up, using his Gentle fist fighting
style to take out as many attackers as he could, to keep them
away from ChiChi. He knew that he didn't have a lot of chakra
left, so it wasn't a fair fight at all.

She stood back to back with him now, surrounded by the shadowed
figures as the embers continued to dance around them. They were
both exhausted, him more than her she knew. Their chances were
looking slim. ChiChiswung around and planted a kiss on Rayek's
lips, but brushed the thought away. "It's not going to end
here," she decided. "I'mnot going to leave your side." she
       roared

Rayek was almost out of breath, but he nodded at ChiChi's
resolve. He then pushed her back, ready to perform what would be
Rayeks final attack. He got into the stance for his Eight
Trigrams, and took a deep breath. The breath was longer than
usual, and he knew that this would be it. As the enemy closed
       in, he started his attack.
First, two consecutive strikes to make two. Second, another two
consecutive strikes to make four. Third, four consecutive
strikes to make eight. Fourth, eight consecutive strikes to make
sixteen. Fifth, sixteen consecutive strikes to make thirty two.
Sixth, thirty two consecutive strikes in succession to make a
total of sixty four strikes. Seventh, sixty-four consecutive
strikes to make one hundred twenty-eight. Eighth, one hundred
twenty-eight consecutive strikes to make two hundred fifty-six.
Ninth, two hundred fifty-six consecutive strikes to makes five
hundred twelve. Tenth, final five hundred twelve consecutive
strikes to makes One thousand twenty four strikes. Despite
having almost no chakra, Rayek moved with blinding speed, taking
out almost all of the enemies. Afterwards, there would only be
one left. The one left stood just out of reach of Rayek.
When he was done, the lone attacker stood petrified, as Rayek
tried to attack him, but ended up falling short. He looked back
at ChiChi, and mouthed something before falling to the ground,
as he died from having no chakra left.

Exasperated CHiChi pulled herself off the ground in time to
catch his final message. "NO!" She screamed seeing him fall to
the ground as the enclosing flames created a wall between them.
"Rayek!" She called. "Rayek, answer me!" She inhaled, bracing
herself then leapt through the wall of flames. She spotted him
and ran to his side listening for the slightest heartbeat.
"Nononono...." She cried as she cradled him in her arms while
the world still burned down around them.
The following morning the body of Rayek Hyuga was delivered to
the Hyuga residence. He was encased in a block of solid crystal
so that his body would perfectly preserved. After his funeral
service, Michiru Utsushi also vanished-perhaps in search of the
origin of monsters that attacked them.
