The soft rustle of the trees ahead seemed to calm Daisuke, who
sat atop the village gates. It was night, so there was barely
anyone in the village. The commotion that happened earlier was
still in his mind, and he needed to get his mind off of things.

Azura shouldered her bag with determination as she made her way
to the village gates. The days altercation left her thinking if
it was best to leave or not. If she continued on the path of
becoming a ninja she'd have to go through fights like that and
it left her scared, but she'd thought back to how she couldn't
help either of her friends and it made the decision that she
wanted to become stronger if not for herself than at least for
the ones she care about.

Daisuke felt a familiar chakra near him, and jumped down to see
Shadow. He tried to give her a smile, but it ended up only a
half smile. "Sorry about what happened back there."

She shook her head "It's fine, if anything its shown me that I'm
making the right choice. I want to become stronger and not have
to stand on the sidelines and watch the people I love get hurt."

He was about to say something, but then she said love. He
pasued, and looked at her. "Y-Yeah... That's the reason I became
a great ninja...Was to protect the people I love..." He said,
looking down.

said, hugging her. He would make sure that she was a great
