[center] Ebonyglass, as usual, was out hunting deep in the
heart of ShadowClan territory. His mind was all on prey and then
getting back to the clan as soon as he could. He was always so
focused, so intent, on what he was supposed to be doing. He
never seemed to have any time for fun. The black tom only seemed
to snap back into reality when he realized that he was by the
WindClan border... How had that happened? To him, it had seemed
that he had only been out of camp for a moment or so. Dazed, he
shook his head.[/center]

Ancientstar was out alone on patrol when she spotted Ebonyglass.
The tiny chocolate she-cat trotted over to the border, giving a
friendly nod in greeting.
"Hello, warrior." She meowed, blinking those deep green eyes of
hers.

[center] Ebonyglass began to bristle as he heard the words
and spotted this she-cat who he instantly recognized as the
leader of WindClan. "Greetings Ancientstar." He meowed with a
respectful dip of his head, forcing himself to relax his
muscles. He had been startled, but he wasn't the aggressive kind
of tom who took the chance to fight everytime he could.[/center]

announced, lifting up his chin with some of his ShadowClan
arrogance coming back to him,"Warrior of ShadowClan. Nice to
meetcha." He'd only ever seen the leader of WindClan at
gatherings which, of course, wasn't up close or
anything.[/center]

Ancientstar nodded. "Nice to meet you, Ebonyglass." She paused,
and studied him.
"You wouldn't happen to be related to Lowpaw, would you? I swear
you look much like her."

[center] Ebonyglass rolled his eyes at the mention of his
sister; the two had this kind of "love-hate" relationship going.
Mainly hate, but whatever. "Yeah, that's my sister." He gave a
dry laugh, flicking the tip of his tail. He tried to look out
for her, but she always seemed to be avoiding him! It annoyed
the snot out of the tom,"Why do ya ask?" He asked with a
yawn.[/center]

Ancientstar purred. "She's a very energetic young apprentice."
She mewed softly. "Very kind, too." The chocolate she-cat sat
down gracefully.
Her long, thick fur shone with good health, and her eyes gleamed
with amusement.

[center] Ebonyglass gave a genuine laugh now,"Yeah, you
could say that." He grinned, hardly believing his ears when
Lowpaw was called nice. To him, she was anything but nice.
"Anyways, I've kind of looked out for her ever since we became
apprentices, even if she is the medicine cat apprentice. And
then I became a warrior and she completely avoids me. Typical
Lowpaw behavior." He meowed, rolling his eyes and then slyly
observing the WindClan leader from the edge of his sight. She
was actually quite pretty, he noted.[/center]

Ancientstar giggled. "I have heard you're a bit... Well...
arrogant. Annoying. Something like that."
She licked her chest fur quickly, to hide her embarrassment.
