Biography[spoiler]
Septimus was born to farmers in D'amourre Plots, where his
talent for Misilm Magi came in handy in tilling the soil for
crops to be planted. When he was ten, however, his life was
ripped away by a rogue Heli mage. The man had no ill intent, but
couldn't control his gift and so burnt down the Vianacelli
homestead. Left destitute, the family more or less sold Septimus
to a traveling mage who agreed to take him as apprentice as well
as serving boy.
During this time, Septimus learned how to harness his power to
create stone walls and projectiles, as well as the use of the
cestus for fighting. He became something akin to a bodyguard for
the mage, who had a dream of opening a private academy to teach
the use of Magis. Once the term of his servitude was up,
Septimus went to Marieve to begin making a name for himself.
After a few lucky investments paid off, he was able to enter the
terrifying world of politics, though he never wanted much
political power for himself. He would much rather support
like-minded individuals who had the power to lead. With the
disappearance of Lioth Deneth, Septimus has put his chips in
with Asena Valda, finding her to be the only candidate who might
look towards the greater good of the Allesandrian people.

Born into the church, Gabrielle grew up in the care of the
priests and priestesses after her parents passed away on a
Missionary trip. She learned the rites of Embra and internalized
them, incorporating them into her own ideals. If the world had a
unified religion, then there would be peace, and nobody's
parents would die at the hands of nonbelievers. To do this, she
wishes to gain a spot on the Triangular Truce and burn the world
in the righteous fire of Embra.

and a scientist father, Alma Mason almost died while being born.
Only her father's quick thinking and her mother's sacrifice
allowed her to survive, though her brush with death left her
frail and bound to an Umbra Dweller. Her mother died saving her
life, leaving her to be raised by a father who only sought
scientific understanding.
He raised her as a tool, not as a daughter. He taught her to
torture and kill, and she found she was quite good at it.
However, she hated what her father was making her into, and at a
young age she turned on him and murdered him in his sleep. She
fled, knowing she had nowhere to go and just hoping to survive
for the time being. With the help of Shadow, she got by well
enough.
She lived for several years acting as a Medium to people,
listening for the whispers of the dead and relating their words
to the living for coin. However, this attracted the attention of
others who would try to use her and harness her gift towards
dark purposes. Shortly before current events, she was hunted
down and taken by the LaToshe twins to be subject to cruel
experiments testing the limit of her spiritual

Archipelago with his people, the Kanaki o nā Nalu. Like
many, he was gifted with Zsiil Magis, though he showed an
incredible talent for it at a young age. When he was but twelve
he kept an overflowing river from swallowing much of his
village, earning him the epithet "Flood Stopper."
At age sixteen an early-season storm caught him and some other
sailors out on open water. He (with some help) pushed the
low-lying storm clouds back and calmed the waves to keep the
ships from being flooded or capsized, though there was some
damage from the gale winds. This earned him the title of "Storm
Breaker".
When he was nineteen, a fleet of pirates came to the
Archipelago. They came before many sailors had embarked for the
season, leaving only the Great Shark Tribe to fight against
them. Kai worked with others to command the waves, forming a
violent and powerful maelstrom to sink the opposing ships,
gaining the name "Fleet Sinker" in the process.
With three powerful water-based deeds to his name, Kai could
have stepped up to command a great fleet of sailors and become a
legend among his people. Instead, he left his home to travel the
mainland. During his travels, he came across the Eccentrique.
After proving his mastery of Zsiil, he was blessed at the
temples of Osmus and Galia in Elvira and Elmira to become the
Avatar of Pisces.[/spoiler]
