I would like to introduce myself.

Hi my name is Martin, I am your administrator, and moderator, I
live in S.E Wisconsin and recently gotten deeper into glass
etching, I have etched glasses and mugs before but recently
started making mirrors and flat etchings. I have a homemade
blasting cabinet, a pistol style blasting gun, 8gal and 5 gal
air compressor, and a small Badger Hobby Sandblaster which I use
for small runs of glasses.

SIMULAR HERE..My name is Wade, I live in 2 states: Fla because
of mother and Rayen La for work...I am dropping out of Vinyl
cutting and getting into glass work so I will have many simple
but not simple to me about etching and the materials needed to
achieve a good product.

My name is Paul and I too have the bug for etching. I started
out with cream but then saw some of the possibilities of
sandblast work and headed for harbor freight. I ended up with a
table top blast cabinet with the pistol style gun as well as a
20lb or 30lb pressure pot that I also feed into the blast
cabinet. I am still a major novice and I know all my tools are
cheap but they get the job done so far.
I have a vinyl sign and graphic business and this is a natural
extension of some of the tools and talents from that industry.

My name is Butch and I got started because my wife and I do
glass fusing. We wanted to add a little decoration to our
bottles that we slump. And be able to personalize them. Right
now just very novice and extended hobby( means:spending more
than making ).

Hello group. My name is Bob and I do a little glass etching.
Started with an air eraser and quickly move to a pressure pot
because the air eraser was a pain to keep filling it up. I
still use it to do some shading on pieces. I have 3 pressure
pots and 3 cabinets of different sizes. I built the last one as
a pass thru cabinet for doing some of the larger pieces. One
that I use just for stone. Hope that I can help out on some
questions
