Build my own LED display?

I want to build my own displays I also have a few designs worked
out, however I read somewhere thay your not suppose to put the
glass right on top of the LEDS. So my question is how would go
about making it so the Glass isn't on top of the LEDs?

Martin you can put a dab of clear Silicon caulk on each end and
let it dry then put your glass on top. It also acts as a cushion
for the glass

Bob thank you for that tip I didn't even think about clear
caulk. Glad I made this forum. I received my power supply and
hoping to get my first base built this weekend.

Please do...I have several LED elements I would like to get a
better idea...I have made so many of the INFINITY Mirrors that I
would like to do something different

Sorry guys I didn't get to making this today however I did make
a Marilyn Monroe Mirror check it out in the Gallery section.
