Mine Permit

Here's an interestiong plugin... not sure if I want to add it
or not, but ...
MINE PERMIT
MinePermit allows server to require players to pay a fee in
order to mine all, or specific materials, such as gold, iron,
and Diamond. They will then have received a permit to mine that
material for a certain amount of time, defined by the server.
Current Features
* Gold-nugget based currency
* Unlimited blocks and permits
* Customizable prices for each block
* Customizable currency
* Customize allotted time per permit
* More to come!
Usage
Commands:
•"/permit buy [id]" Buys the permit for an item
•"/permit view {id}" Displays remaining time for given permit
(no ID for all permits)
•"/permit cost [id]" Gets the cost of a permit

I quit. This is ridiculous. The server is already strict enough,
no wonder why none of the friends I brought like it. A permit to
MINE? Way to ruin the game. It's hard enough to find the
resources, but to pay for them? I'm avoiding the main server
like the plague from now on.

I said it was interesting, didn't say I was actually going to
add it! Funny!
And sorry you feel we are too strict. If thats how you feel,
then maybe we aren't the server for you. Nobody else has a
problem with it. Matter of fact, most of the regulars are here
because of how we run it! And thats what they want in a server!

Just to clarify, for anyone else concernded, the reason I
actually posted it was because it reminded me of the server that
forced us to start this one. Those that have been with us from
the beginning (and came from that server as well) will know what
I'm talking about. They had permits required in some areas and
towns in order to mine there.

I personally think this idea has ups and downs. Mostly downs...
Ups: Less people mining in one area, adds a RP feel to the game.
Downs: Restricts people from one of the main aspects of
minecraft, Even more difficult for newbies to start off, another
feature people will need to learn,
If it is added I would like to see it be an only one time
payment sort of thing.
I'm not saying no, I'm just stating a personal opinion on what I
think the effects are. I does seem interesting.

[/quote] To be honest We're a pretty loose server. I've been on
a lot of servers and the only "strict" rules are the one that
make it so everyone's experience is enjoyable and so people
don't annoy/ruin/destroy/kill/take others stuff without others
approval and so on. This server is to make everyone happy and
equally respected.
If you would like to give honest, nice, and polite feedback
please do.

Don't worry, this plugin is NOT going to be added! LOL
It just reminded me of Wow, not so much the whole server, but I
know in Skeleton you had to buy a permit to mine... its one of
the first things I needed to do, after getting my lot purchased
and house built! It also reminded me of another former player
on here for that matter... who shall remain nameless! ;) It
could have been worthwhile then! But it would have had to be
outrageously priced! LOL
