Still looking for more suggestions for Main Server

I'm still trying to come up with some good plugin combinations
that we could use on the Main Server. Something that would
breathe some new life into the server and attract more new
members! Any more ideas or suggestions?
Anyone out there visiting other popular servers and seeing what
they are using? I haven't yet, but am thinking I should try to
find some time to do so. I hate to suggest it, but with the
slow-down on the main servers, I'm thinking its time for a
change. Something fresh to attract new people and make it fun
and more interesting once again! A year is a long time to have
the same thing, I'm starting to think!
I'd love to get something to encourage more new members to come
in and have more awesome builds created! I would love to see it
stay survival, yet with new building projects! After playing
tekkit, there are some neat plugins out there, as well. It
would be fun to implement something extra like that to add to
the minecraft gameplay. However, preferrably without requiring
clientside mods. Not sure if there are any plugins to do that
yet or not. Trying to find out... but there are soooo many to
look through! If you have found anything fun that would be
worth checking out, please post your ideas!!
On another note... another thought is open the server(s) up so
people can join more freely. Granted, this would open us up to
more griefers and the like, but we would try to keep some
plugins in place to deter that. Is there anything else you
would like to see that can help protect us from this problem, if
we were to open it up and make registration a little easier? I
would probably look at keeping Essentials, and with that, look
at activating the sign protection feature so we can lock chests,
etc. Any other ideas?
Would we want to look at something more RPG? or semi-rpg? Keep
it relaxed as we have been thus far? Do a themed world? Do we
need PvP? I know this has come up before.. but now that we
have a Tekkit PvP, do we want/need it on the regular minecraft
servers? I am trying to encompass some different things with
different servers, so they don't have to all be on one
particular server. At least that is my thinking on that...
but...its not just up to me! I want this to be a community
process!!
These are all things I would love to dive into more! Not saying
we will change it... or at least not this week. But looking to
the future of WolfCraft in general... and making it a better
community, and a busier one once again!

Alright i think a hardcore pvp server would be cool because lots
of people love pvp all my friends even the ones who got banned
on the server love pvp thats all they play i play on this
minecraft srvers alot they have at least 5000+ people a day on
there playing hardcore. Pvp and hunger games and kit pvp its an
all pvp server that is amazing and the website url is mcpvp.com
if you want to check it out please do it is really amazing
servers they have

I dont have any plugin ideas, but all i have to say is ill try
my best to check regularly on the main servers, and ill tell my
friends that have just recently gotten minecraft. i havent been
able to be on very much becuase ive been in San Fransisco, and
ive broken a couple bones (lol) and ive been really busy, but
ill try and keep at least me and winter on regularly. hope this
helps ;)

I've been thinking and I believe we should update the world at
some time soon so we can get the new terrain generation. But
mainly only when a big update comes.
I also believe we should open the servers up to newcomers more
by making it easier for people to join our community. Possibly
add a hunger games world. I hear those are fun. Maybe even (If
possible) incorporate the hunger games into a separate world on
the tekkit server.
I think the tekkit PvP should be open without a white-list and
add factions so It's easier to differentiate groups and add more
of a unified experience for people. But limit most of the
factions abilities, such as: block breaking protection, chest
protection, etc. also having no "VIP BENEFITS" or banned
blocks/items.
And for the Semi-vanilla I say it should become a full vanilla
and a new unbrocken map. and maybe open the rules more from a PG
to PG13/14A. I think it will allow people to be a little more
open and feel less dictated upon.
Just some thoughts.

EDIT: I know these ideas are all for different servers I just
thought that this would allow me to expand on a greater level of
discussion by putting it into one post. Maybe incorporate ideas
that I had from the others servers I mentioned.

A hardcore pvp server would be fun you only need a couple
plugins for it and have a player economy that we can sell stuff
with commands and have a forcefeild so players can not go past
it
