       Food for thought?  Completely vanilla server?

       Hey guys (and gals).
       Just wanted to throw something out.  Looking at Minecraft.net,
       trying to get some ideas on what people are asking for.  There
       are still a lot of people asking for a completely vanilla
       server, no plugins whatsoever. I know this opens us up to other
       issues, but what do you think about it?  Would it be worthwhile
       to replace the semi-vanilla server with a completely vanilla
       server? I'd like some feedback.
       I'd probably look at still keeping it whitelisted, but set it up
       so any admin can respond to an in-forum request and add a player
       they felt fit to join, after a brief background check.
       I'll admit, I do still like the semi-vanilla format, using
       craftbukkit and essentials.  At least it gives me a change to
       keep a better eye on whats happening overall on the server,
       whereas a true vanilla server would not really allow that as
       well.
       This could be an opportunity to attract some additional people
       to the servers. There no doubt could be some overflow to our
       other servers from people checking this out.

       I would like a completly vanilla server would be great as long
       as we have people that follow the rules and dont grief like but
       it would be amazing if we could still use tnt and have fire
       spread on and have the difficuty set on hard
