FALSEBOOK COMMANDS for: Bridges, Gates, Doors, Elevators, and
Hidden Switches
BRIDGES
Bridges are 3-wide flat sections of the world that you can
toggle on and off.
[li]They can be toggled by right clicking a sign, or;[/li]
[li]They can be set with redstone input.[/li]
[li]As bridges they are not very fancy, but you can re-purpose
them for a number of other uses. If you want "vertical bridges,"
look into using doors.[/li]
Bridges consist of three parts:
[li]The bridge part made out of one type of material.[/li]
[li]One sign post on one end, either above or below the bridge.
The second line of the sign must be [Bridge].[/li]
[li]A sign post on the other end, either above or below. The
second line of the sign must be [Bridge] or [Bridge End] (you
are only able to right click the first type).[/li]
The signs can be both either above or below the bridge, but they
must be in the center.
Bridges can be build at different widths. (Enter the Left Width
on the 3rd Line, and the Rightside Width on the 4th line ;
Default is 1 for both sides)
Redstone Support
Bridges support redstone: just put a redstone current next to
the sign. You may want to place signs under bridges so that they
are not unsightly if you do use redstone.
[li]An active input creates the bridge.[/li]
[li]An inactive input removes the bridge.[/li]
Aside from the obvious use as a retractable bridge, some
possibilities include:
[li]Using them as flood gates to block water or lava.[/li]
[li]Using them as flood gates to unleash water or lava on
unsuspecting players.[/li]
[li]Luring enemies into a pit with a bridge floor, then
releasing the enemies when an unsuspecting player is
nearby.[/li]
[li]Function as a trap door to catch unsuspecting players.[/li]
[li]Toggle a part of a house's floorboards to hide things
underneath.[/li]
[li]Switch a sky light on and off.[/li]
[li]Suffocating unsuspecting intruders or hostile mobs.[/li]
[li]Some other clever use that will blow all of our
minds.[/li]

GATES
Gates are fence gates made of arbitrary shapes and sizes that
can be toggled on and off.
[li]They can be toggled by right clicking a sign, or; [/li]
[li]They can be set with redstone input.[/li]
When toggled off, gates leave the top row of fences intact as so
it knows where to restore the fence blocks.
Gates consist of two parts:
[li]Stacked fence blocks make up the gate. To stack fence
blocks, place fences on top of each other. Repeat for each row.
Make sure the top of the gate is covered.[/li]
[li]A nearby wall sign with [Gate] on the second
line.[/li]
Redstone support Gates support redstone: just put a redstone
current next to the sign.
[li]An active input creates the gate.[/li]
[li]An inactive input removes the gate. [/li]
Because gate signs work with an area effect (looking for
fences), they may trigger adjacent gates accidentally. An
alternative is to use the [DGate] sign which looks at most one
block away and two blocks below for gates to open.
Uses Gates can be used as:
[li]Flood gates to block water or lava. [/li]
[li]Gates to castles or doors.[/li]
[li]Trapping unfortunate creatures or players in an area.[/li]
[li]Some other clever use that will blow all of our
minds.[/li]

DOORS
Doors are 3-wide flat vertical sections of the world that you
can toggle on and off. They are similar to bridges, but bridges
are horizontal.
[li]Doors can be toggled by right clicking a sign, or;[/li]
[li]Doors can be set with redstone input.[/li]
[li]As doors they are not very fancy, but you can re-purpose
them for a number of other uses.[/li]
Doors consist of three parts:
[li]The door part made out of one material. By default, you can
use stone, dirt, cobblestone, wood, log, glass, wool, double
stone slabs, stone slabs, brick, bookshelves, snow blocks, or
clay blocks, but this list can be configured.[/li]
[li]One sign post at the bottom in the middle. The second line
of the sign must be [Door Up].[/li]
[li]A sign post at the top in the middle. The second line of
the sign must be [Door Down].[/li]
If you want one side to be un-right clickable, use [Door] as the
second line
Redstone support Doors support redstone: just put a redstone
current next to the sign.
[li]An active input creates the door.[/li]
[li]An inactive input removes the door. [/li]
Uses Aside from the obvious use as a retractable door, some
possibilities include:
[li]Use as a hidden bookshelf entrance.[/li]
[li]A toggle for flooding the area directly below with either
water or lava, which could be useful for either PvE or PvP.[/li]
[li]A trap to temporarily contain hostile mobs, only to release
them at a later time in a PvP situation.[/li]
[li]A basic logic test for newcomers to a server. [/li]
[li]A door that one person must keep open by remaining on a
pressure pad or pressing a stone button from a distance while
another passes through.[/li]
[li]Combine with redstone and Bridges to create a drawbridge
(great for castles).[/li]
[li]Some other clever use that will blow all of our
minds.[/li]

ELEVATORS
Elevators allow you to move between floors easily (through
teleportation). Signs must be created in the same location but
above or below in order to link floors to each other.
Elevators are just wall signs that are above or below each
other. However, there are three different types of wall signs
that determine what you can do on a certain level.
[li]Using [Lift Up] on the second line of a sign allows players
to right click the sign to go upwards toward any other elevator
sign.[/li]
[li][Lift Down] on the second line of on a sign allows players
to right click the sign to go downwards toward any other
elevator sign. [/li]
[li]Using [Lift] on the second line of a sign prevents anyone
from right clicking the sign, but you can use it tandem with the
other two signs types.[/li]
The first line of a sign can be used to tell players who arrive
at a level the name of the level.
Elevators will check to see if there is flooring below the
player at the destination. Be aware that elevators teleport the
player directly upwards or downwards. Also when constructing an
elevator, be sure to have 3 blocks of room height-wise or else
you'll get the message "Your destination is obstructed."
Multiple floors You can't have one elevator system for multiple
floors. An elevator goes always from the sign to the sign above
or below it (defined by the sign text). If you want a
multiple-floor elevator you simply need multiple elevators.
HIDDEN SWITCHES
Hidden switches allow you to hide a redstone lever behind a
wall. On right click of the associated block, the lever will
toggle.
Hidden switches consist of three parts:
[li]A block to put the sign on.[/li]
[li]Either a sign post or a wall sign with [X] as the second
line.[/li]
[li]A lever one block away from the sign in any right angle
direction.[/li]
Right clicking a block next to the sign while not holding any
item in your hand will toggle the switch(es) adjacent to the
sign.

Other Commands Available
Bookworm Usage/Commands
Printer Friendly Version: Bookworm Usage Guide
HTML http://www.mediafire.com/view/?9hx1fl9g1macghy
(WORD)
This plugin uses the /bookworm command, but it has the /bw and
/write commands as aliases. The in-game help is designed to be,
well, helpful. Using the command without any arguments will give
you context-sensitive help.
To start writing a book, you hold a book in your hand and type
/write <title>. You can then use /write <text> to add text to
your book. If chat mode is enabled, you can also just chat
without using the command to write into the book, as long as
you're holding the book. You can use a double-colon :: to create
a paragraph. As you write, the plugin will break your text into
pages for you.
You can place a book in a bookshelf by left-clicking on the
bookshelf with your book in hand. You can get a copy of a book
from a bookshelf with left-click, and you can remove a book from
a bookshelf with shift-left-click.
When creating a copy of a book, by default the plugin creates a
"fake" copy. Any changes made to the original will also show up
in the copy, and any changes made to the copy will show up in
the original. This includes adding new text, changing the title,
erasing text, or any other modification. You can change this
behavior by setting the make-real-copy option in the
configuration file to true. If you choose to do this, you should
be aware that each copy will then take up hard drive space, and
"book space". There is a current limit of about 32,000 books.
You can read a book by holding it and right-clicking the air.
You can read a book in a bookshelf by right-clicking the
bookshelf.
Here are some special commands available while writing a book:
[li]/write -help : shows this list of commands[/li]
[li]/write -chat : toggle chat write mode[/li]
[li]/write -read <page> : read the specified page[/li]
[li]/write -author <author> : sets the displayed author (this is
just the displayed author, the real author will stay the
same)[/li]
[li]/write -title <new title> : change a book's title[/li]
[li]/write -undo : Undo your last write action. Only has one
level of undo. Things that can be undone: written text,
replacements, erasings.[/li]
[li]/write -erase <text> : erases the specified text from the
book[/li]
[li]/write -replace <old text> -> <new text> : replaces
text[/li]
[li]/write -eraseall : erases all text from the book[/li]
[li]/write -get <id> : gets the book with the given id[/li]
[li]/write -id : gets the id of the currently held book[/li]
[li]/write -delete <id> : completely deletes the book with the
specified id[/li]
