Need Mayors for Humphrey and Newtown!

We are looking to establish a couple of the existing towns on
the server. Nominations are open for the following Mayorships.
The Mayors will be elected from nominations (self-nominations
accepted also) and will be voted upon. The terms will be 3
months at a time, and then be voted upon again. No limit to how
many terms one person can serve.
Job Openings - Seeking nominations for the following:
Mayor - Humphrey
Current Nominees:
- Anasaz
- Prd30
Mayor - Newtown
Current Nominees:
- Nominations Open
Nominations will be accepted through March 27th. On March 28th,
a poll will be posted giving members a chance to vote on these
positions, with the winner taking office April 5th. POST
NOMINATIONS HERE by replying to this topic!!
Job Description:
- To oversee their respective town.
- Set guidelines for building within the town.
- Hiring townspeople, or outsiders to do certain jobs for the
town (65Wolf can help come up with some payment ideas, if
necessary, to get things going).
- Come up with new ideas for functional town buildings.
- Enforce rules within the town, as set up by the town, and
maybe come up with punishments or consequences, as well.
- Enhance towns with certain themes or ideas relative to that
specific town.
- And other functions that might not be mentioned here, or
thought up yet.

Another thought that was brought up last nite... the first
elected mayors could come up with a 'history' of the town. Like
a little story of the town's history to add some flavor to the
town. This could be done for each of the towns that start up.
Would make it a little more interesting!
