CONTEST - Spawn idea/creation for Vanilla Server

VANILLA SERVER - SPAWN BUILD CONTEST!!
Okay everyone... here's your chance! Our first contest on the
new server! We've discussed it for some time, now its time to
act!
I want some ideas for a new spawn area for the Semi-Vanilla
Server, WolfCraft II. You can describe it, use pictures, build
something to demonstrate, whatever! Get your point across in an
understandable fashion, however you see fit! Something we could
build in the existing area of spawn would be great! But, I am
open to moving it, if need be. But that might make it confusing
for people who have built already in relation to the spawn. (We
will decide that later!)
We will only be using the standard minecraft spawn protection
(adjustable to whatever size we see fit). Another thing to keep
in mind is, doors, gates, etc, are not accessable by guests, so
keep this in mind, as well. They need to be able to move freely
and have a way out. Yet, some kind of barrier to keep out mobs
would be wonderful!
I'll give you about 2 weeks to come up with ideas and submit
them here, or whatever you need to do. All submissions must be
placed in this thread only, whether ideas, pictures, or build
coords, and submitted NO LATER than midnight (12:01 AM CDT) on
March 22nd.
RULES:
[li]All current members of the WolfCraft Gaming Network are
eligible.[/li]
[li]All items must be availabe to be gathered up for the
build.[/li]
[li]NO items will be spawned for the build.[/li]
[li]Submissions received AFTER 12:01 CDT on March 22, 2012, will
NOT be accepted![/li]
[li] In the event no official entries are received before the
deadline, prizes will not be awarded.[/li]
Once entries are submitted, I will then set up a poll to be
voted on by our membership. The poll will be up on the forums
for no less than 1 week, and the entry with the most votes will
be judged the winner! After the winner has been chosen, if
necessary, we will then try to get a group of people interested
in helping to build the winning spawn! The winner will be asked
to be the coordinator of the build, as needed, to help us
complete their idea!
Contest Prizes:
The winner will receive:
[li]A complete set of chainmail armor,[/li]
[li]An ocelot egg,[/li]
[li]And a warp to their very own protected bank vault
(containing 2 double chests, a furnace, and a crafting table,
totally encased in bedrock for absolute protection).[/li]

This will be the first thing all new users/potential members
will see when they come in to our server! So keeping that in
mind, be professional and be creative!!
GOOD LUCK!!

Its in a desert area, so just make it like I did in the main
server except in a desert fashion.
Wouldn't be hard at all really.

Yeah. You could do the same thing as on the main server but in a
desert style with ruins. That would be My vote.

So far we have the following ideas:
[li]A room with clues to read before you can
get out. [/li]
[li]A spawn similar to the Main server, but instead of vines and
trees, uses sandstone/ruins to give dessert feel.[/li]
[li]A giant tree they have to work their way down.[/li]
[li]Or, keep it as it is.[/li]
You still have time to get in on this if you have ideas you want
to share!!

With the recent work in Humphrey, and interest in getting town
Mayors in place...
How about a Spawn Town? Could center around the existing spawn
in the desert area, or be moved to a wooded or open field
region. I think a desert town would be fine! Something BIGGER
that people would see as soon as they come in, with maybe some
hustle and bustle going on, with its own Mayor running the town?
A central hub, sort of like Olyesti on the main server, that can
be a link to the rest of the server (only without gates). And
having actual roads/paths branch out to certain areas making
them feel more accessible and easy to get around! That way
people are just coming in and wandering blind having to fend for
themselves!! Maybe like a desert-type marketplace. With streets,
buildings, shops?, residential areas, beds, supply shops
offering real basic supplies for the new adventurer (like maybe
free wood kits in chests). Walls around to keep out mobs.
