Weekend special cars

[center]Weekend special cars
Series event[/center]
The Point of this event is to get a weekend special car that you
have acquired, e.g. the Alfa Romeo 8C, and race it against other
drivers with Weekend Special cars.
Tracks: Will be chosen by me on the day.
Times: Every week, 10 IGT on Saturday (APEX) and 10 IGT on
Sunday (CHICANE).
I (jonathantfogel) host the APEX (JONATHANTF) and CHICANE
(JONATHANTFOGEL) events (for the time being).
This event carries on EVERY week, so if you miss one week, you
can join the next
How to join: Reply to this thread, stating that you want to join
and on what day you can join. Add me (JONATHANTF) on APEX before
the event on Saturdays. Add STASIBOMB (STASIBOMB1) on CHICANE
before the event on Sundays. There is no max limit of players,
you can join to as many sessions as you want.
All WS Cars - cars marked in red are available for the next
event
6 cars will be picked out for each session - 1 WS (weekend
special), 1 Backup, 3 previous WS, this week, and the Infiniti
G35 (available for every event);

[i]Car info for weeks WITHOUT the weekend special will be
announced on Wednesdays, weeks WITH weekend special will have
announcements on Fridays
IMPORTANT NOTE: You can use special editions of a car. E.g. Alfa
Romeo 8C "A-spec" and Ford SHELBY Mustang GT500 DRAG
EDITION.
*The Backup car rotation, suggested by MADD: I'll create a
rotation every two weeks, where the "Backup car" will
be substituted. The backup car is an alternative that you can
drive if you don't have anything else on the list. I'll choose a
car that is competitive against the weekend special cars,
although nothing that will overpower them (unless a car has been
as a weekend special any time before like the SLR).

I like the idea! It sounds fair but the only thing I would
change would be maybe different "backup" cars each 2 weeks,
instead of the SLR McLaren. This way it would be more fair if
someone doesn't have the cash to buy the Weekend Special car,
since it's only available for 2 days.
I should be able to attend the apex events with the Weekend
Special car :D

Thanks for the suggestion MADD, I think it's a great idea. I'll
create a rotation every two weeks, where the "Backup car" will
be substituted (Just like you said).
I'll choose a car that is competitive against the weekend
special cars, although nothing that will overpower them (unless
a car has been as a weekend special any time before like the
SLR)

Thanks Stasi.
This will be a crew event, members can join, even of this
website who are not in the crew.
First session on APEX starts tomorrow! (25th October) at 10:00
IGT, I will be hosting it.
First Session on CHICANE starts in two days (26th October) at
10:00 IGT. I need a volunteer for the CHICANE host because, as I
mentioned above, I don't have an applicable car on that driver.
Anyone can join, as long as you have a car listed above.

I did mention that it was every two weeks, because the event
would be held every time a weekend special "arrives".
Although I could change it, so that the waiting time isn't so
long for every event. I'm on at that time every weekend anyway.
