[center]The chocolate mink had been quiet for the whole
conversation between his deputy, the medicine cat and the
apprentice. The entire time he was thinking of what was the
right decision while they talked away. He had been watching
Vividspeculations, one hand the tom held a high positioned and
the other the tom wanted to father kits. "You can father these
kits, but don't let it take all your time up from your job, you
are a medicine cat, its job to teach Placidpaw and you should be
ready or getting ready for leaf bare since their might be a
chance cats will get sick" he took a few minutes to pause before
continuing. "I'm not saying don't visit the kits all the time,
you can but remember you hold a important rank in this clan" he
finished. [/center]

diminished into nothing but a happy smile.
He gave the deputy a nasty glance. Vividspeculation bowed his
head and murmured, "Thank you, I won't let them get in the way
of my job. Come on, I'll show you them now!"
He trotted away, bushy tail brushing the ground as he entered
the Nursery.
"I will be raising them, September, but I'll be eternally
grateful if you could nurse them. I hope it doesn't put a burden
on yourself, though."
The apprentice-aged she-cat grinned. "I'd be a fool to say no!"

[center]Placidpaw let a smile rise on her maw. Maybe Vivid would
teach her something about a young cat getting sick. That came
out wrong, no. If a kit did get sick, which she hoped it
wouldn't, Vivid would teach her. That's better. "Can I name one,
Vivid?"[/center]

Even with his rough teachings, Vivid's apprentice stayed strong
by his side. He nosed her on the shoulder gently and pointed his
maw to the smallest of the bunch. "That one."

"Topkit." Placidpaw meowed excitedly. She had always wanted to
name a kitten because she hated her own name and didn't want
that to happen to any other of her clanmates. "It just looks
like a Topkit."

Placidpaw smiled. She looked down at the newborn kit, just
starting to dry off. It's fur was soft and fuzzy; like all
kitten's were. Topkit already had a special place in her heart.
