I will be taking notes of the Clan's
history as they go along. It seems more fun (and it's
less work), so here goes!

STARCLAN
ShadeClan believes in StarClan, like
any other pro-Clan.
[shadow=grey,left]Territory[/shadow]
ShadeClan resides in a dense, gloomy
pine forest. The tall trees cast long shadows all
over the forest, making it seem
haunted and eerie. Most young cats would chicken out
of trespassing here, thanks to the
shadows and the screeching wails of owls in the night.
Despite this, ShadeClan cats feel
right at home here, with a stream running through the
middle of the territory, an abundance
of prey and plenty of clearings to train in, the
warriors couldn't ask for a better
territory.
The camp is a large clearing protected
by a thick bramble barrier filled with secret
escape routes. Near the entrance is a
large hollow tree, and amongst the roots is the
leader den. When the leader wants to
make an announcement all they have to do is
hop onto a low hanging branch and
gather the Clan. The tree is called the Shade Tree.
On the other side of the entrance is a
large bush that houses the warriors den, so when
there are trespassers the warriors can
get straight to the battle. Next to the warrior den
is a large, mossy hollow log that
serves as the elder den. It's the driest place in the
camp, and well protected. Leaning
against the log is a large clump of ferns that the
apprentices use as their den. Near the
very back is an old abandoned badger set that
the healer and their apprentice sleep
in. There's also room for a few patients and herbs
in there. A crevice in a large boulder
is used as the nursery. Covered by a wall of
brambles, it is the safest den in the
camp.

1. The leader's word is law.
2. Male healers are allowed to have a
mate and kits, but females are not.
3. Kits are forbidden to leave the
camp.
4. If you are caught plotting against
the leader and/or ShadeClan, you will be severely punished. If
you are a
high position you will also be
demoted.
5. You must respect the ranks above
you.

2. Use proper grammar and punctuation.
3. If you have a high position and are
inactive for over a week
without letting me know, I will PM
you. If you don't reply within two days, I will demote you.
4. You must get my permission before
starting a plot.

[sup]Prey and Dangers
Prey: Small birds, squirrels, mice,
shrews, fish
Dangers: Owls, bears, Twolegs
Ranks
Leader: the cat in charge. They hold
all the ceremonies and make the final
decisions when it comes to battle
strategy, allies, and other things.
Deputy: the second in command. They
organize patrols, make sure no one is
slacking and help the leader make
decisions. If the leader is sick or unable to lead for a
short period of time, the deputy will
fill in for them.
Assistant Deputy: helps out the
deputy, fills in for the deputy when they're sick or
unable to do their duties. They
usually start out as apprentices. May or may not
become the deputy depending on age and
experience.
Healer: equivalent to the other Clans'
medicine cat. They see to every sick or
injured cat and have an unusually
strong connection with StarClan.
Healer Apprentice: this cat trains
under the healer so that they will one day take
over.
Warriors: these cats are the fighting
force of the Clan. They also hunt prey for the weaker cats and
patrol the borders.
Apprentices: these cats are training
to become warriors.
Queens: she-cats expecting or nursing
kits. They are excused from their warrior duties until their
kits become apprentices
Kits: kittens under six moons of age.
Elders: former warriors and queens,
now retired. Disabled cats can also become elders.
