       Thousandyears was curled in a corner of RiverClan camp, weeping
       mournfuly. Her brother, Dentedmetal, had been murdered while out
       hunting. The she-cat was despairing, trying to beg StarClan for
       her brother back. Of course, that was not going to happen. Her
       mother had been in a rage, demanding no one set paw near
       Thousandyears or the corpse of Dentedmetal. Not many were going
       to sit vigil for Dentedmetal because of her mothers' remarks.
       That just upset Thousandyears even more! Obviously it did.
       Soon enough, the grieving she-cat felt a cats prescence. "Leave
       me alone," she rasped, voice barely more than a whisper. It was
       her mother. "I'm sorry, my little star. Not even StarClan could
       stop this," soothed Venusglow. Thousandyears glanced up. "Of
       course they could! They were the ones that let it happen!" spat
       the tortie. Venusglow was taken aback. "Sorry, mother."
       apologized Thousandyears. "I just want to curl up to him and
       sleep, but I cannot. I want him back." Venusglow sighed at her
       daughters sadness. She padded away without a word. Why is
       everyone abandoning me? pondered Thousandyears.
