Island of Sicily had to stay strong. But life had taken it's
       toll.
After a year of utter starvation, she couldn't help wishing she
hadn't left the beautiful island she was from to find a new
adventure to settle her curiosity. She couldn't help wishing she
hadn't wandered into the big city, smiling at the shining twoleg
buildings, just before a car ran her over. That was twelve moons
ago, and she still had a limp. She knew it would heal though,
her inner medicine cat shining through. At least it had opened
       her eyes.
The outside world was overestimated. She had learned that the
hard way. Though many places were overflowing with amazing
things, they had to be just as packed with terrible things. It
was the circle of life. Sicily, as everyone called her, tried to
keep her head up. But the georgeous rogue had found herself in a
very, very bad situation: the inner murderer in her was about to
surface. Things were about to change.
Sicily had always been overly perky and a happy go lucky gal.
But her conscience turned on her. Not surprising. She was alone,
starving, and injured in the big city. That brings out the
killer in everyone. And before she knew it, Sicily turned
canniballistic. Her deepest childhood fear, for her to turn into
       a monster, was becoming true.
She couldn't be afraid of herself, because she was so hungry
that the days passed in a daze. There was no time to think. She
       lost it with every second.
       Then she met him.
His name was- oh, she couldn't remember. He was going to be just
another kill. Then he caught her by surprise- and r.ped her. It
snapped her out of her killing craze- and headfirst into love.
With who had r.ped her. It was unbelievable, but she was
eternally grateful to him for opening her eyes. It was a strange
love, but these two were together forever. They became mates. It
was like a real life fairy tale. Sicily had forgotten those
       didn't happen.
One day, he left. He was just gone. Sicily was heartbroken. Then
one day, lying in a corner of a deserted alley she hadn't even
known was here, she found him. Dead, lying pathetically on the
sidewalk, his lips twisted in a half grimace, half smile.
Looking up at her, like he was saying "you just got played,
b****." That stung harder than all the pain she'd ever felt in
       her life.
She didn't know what to feel after that. She just swore never to
ever kill another cat again, and that was that. She kept moving
around from town to town, surprisingly still beautiful, but in a
fallen soldier kind of way. She felt defeated. That's when she
       realized she was pregnant.
       So she cried.
The kits reminded her of the tom. She didn't want them. She
cried and killed, she was so angry, and cried again. She
committed suicide, once, but that failed. Even that didn't hurt
as much as that twisted smile. Then, there was only one thing
left to do- put on a brave face, and maybe, just try to.. smile.
She hadn't said the word in so long. She thought of her family.
And remember she loved them. Just like she would love her kits.
So here she was, settling down in a quaint town. She felt her
heart unblackening, as her kits were closer to being alive in
the world. But it was still hard to keep your head up, in a
       world full of problems.
