Books, Show, or Both?

Have you read the books? Seen the show? Both?
I've read the five books published so far, but have not seen the
show. Hopefully, Santa is bringing me at least the first season
on DVD next week. ;D

I like both, but enjoy the books more. I think its because
sometimes I see someone in my head one way and then they cast
Davos Seaworth. No bueno

Read all the books and putting off on watching the show... not
sure why but probably tied to the fact that I'm saddened by some
of the casting so far! :-\
Kind of want to maintain my own interpretation and mental image
of the characters when reading the upcoming books. :D

I have seen the whole series so far, and read the first three
books. And I own the first two seasons on DVD. I also have the
3rd season on DVR, until I get the DVDs. For the first two
seasons, I saw the series first, then read the book, then
watched the DVDs. I watched the 3rd season twice before I read
the book! But the book does go a bit further than the 3rd
season, so I will be seeing things next season that I've already
read. I'm actually glad that I saw the Red Wedding before I read
it, because it really blew me away! Otherwise, I would have been
waiting for it to happen.

I've read all the books so far but I've only managed to see just
the first season of the show. I just hope that I won't have to
suffer another horrible long wait between books like I had to
with A Dance with Dragons, lol.

Read all books (and Dunk& Egg) and watched the first 2 seasons
... not going to go out of my way to follow the show, though.
