       Queen Horsefly was alone in her room. Evening light poured like
       liquid gold through the windows, bathing the MudWing’s brown
       scales and the parchment she was reading. Dark ink
       chicken-scratch lines blurred as Horsefly’s eyes unfocused.
       ]i]Too many lists, too many petitions to read, [/i]she thought
       tiredly. I should ban petitions. Then I wouldn't have to read
       them all…
       There were two muffled thumps outside the door, and Horsefly
       turned around, realizing with a bolt of horror that her guards’
       bodies were lying in the doorway like huge brown boulders.
       A very pale, white-brown hybrid stepped over the bodies. He
       spread his wings, smiling in greeting.
       Horsefly’s heart dropped into her stomach.
       “B-Botfly!  B-but how?  I’ll call more guards.  I don't know how
       you took out Silt and Redwing, but there are plenty more.” She
       glared at the hybrid, crushing any bits of shame that pricked
       inside her. She hasn't seen him for years, she thought he was
       dead.
       The queen abandoned the petitions on her desk.
       “You can't. You can't call more guards. They're all dead.”
       The dragon’s eyes were black and fathomless, wide with
       suppressed fury and hatred (and glee?). He took a step forward.
       “It's… just you and me now.”
       Horsefly shook her head. “You’re insane. You can't have killed
       them all.” I’ll kill him myself… filthy hybrid… how can he even
       be alive?!  This is ridiculous.
       “You abandoned me alone in the marshes,” the hybrid said
       plaintively, taking another step. “Two years… you left me as
       soon as you could… I loved you, Horsefly…”
       “You’re disgusting,” Horsefly snapped.
       “I am. I am insane. I embrace it.” The dragon said softly,
       spreading his wings again. He grinned. It was unsettling, his
       eyes vortexes of madness, like a demon had risen from Hell and
       replaced the dragon soul inside. “You made me so much more… I
       should thank you, you made me into a god.”
       Horsefly began to feel fear creeping up inside her, but she
       ignored it. She stared at the hybrid with revulsion. “I’ll
       kill you. You're crazy, Botfly. And you aren't supposed to be
       here—how can you be here?”
       The dragon’s mood transformed so quickly, the Queen took a step
       back. He was snarling, teeth bared, face tight. “My name… is
       Paradox. Don't call me Botfly, you aren't worthy to lick my
       talons, scum!”
       “Don't talk that way to your queen! Get out! Or you’ll be dead
       by sunset! I had enough of your face two years ago,” Horsefly
       snapped, her voice hiding a slight tremor. He can't be serious.
       “I refuse to call you that ridiculous name.”
       Paradox’s face calmed suddenly, eerie and emotionless. “You
       think I'm harmless.” He lowered his wings. His head twitched
       to the right, and his tail beat the floor in an irregular
       rhythm. He looked smaller now, more fragile…
       “That’s right,” growled Horsefly.
       “I'm not. I'm not ordinary.” Paradox’s dark eyes began to
       widen again, madness creeping in. He laughed shortly, wringing
       his talons. “When you left me. Haha… you missed something. I
       figured it out. I’m a god, Horsefly. And I'm out to kill you.”
       He grinned again, spreading his wings, looking much bigger than
       he really was.
       A god.  A demon.
       Horsefly stumbled backwards, suddenly struck full of fear.
       Paradox flicked his talon.
       The Queen was paralyzed. Frozen in her position, she lost all
       control of her bodily functions. Her thoughts were devolved to
       mindless gibbering.
       “I’m an animus, Horsefly, an animus, I’m an animus,” Paradox
       laughed manically, his voice wild and high-pitched. “Thinking
       twice? Regretting abandoning me now? You filthy backstabber.”
       Suddenly switching to fury, the hybrid flashed at her mud-brown
       scales.
       Horsefly whined in pain, her pupils dialed. She found she could
       still speak. “Botfly please—” this can't be right no no noooo~
       “I want to make revenge as bloody as possible,” Paradox said
       quietly, stepping closer. His whitish scales were rippling with
       black and red, huge wings twitching. “Make you bleed outside…
       the way I bled inside. You helped my find myself.”
       Through the panic, Horsefly realized this was certainly not the
       Botfly she had known. Something had changed him, he was no
       longer the naive, innocent dragonet she had known.
       That something was her.
       Oh, she regretted it now. Her actions had come full circle.
       Paradox's breath was on her face, he was so close, staring into
       her eyes. It smelled like cinnamon and blood. “I can't believe
       I ever loved you. You're so apathetic, a monster.”
       “You’re the monster,” croaked Horsefly.
       “Oh, I am. A monster. Me. I’m Paradox.” The hybrid grinned,
       displaying his bloody talons, stepping back. “And you’re dead.”
       to be continued...

       And messy as in severe disgusting and vile stuff
       ~~~~
       Paradox spread his talons, making grabbing motions.  “Where
       should we start?  I’m huuungy…”
       Horsefly’s eyes were wide as saucers, dragon urine making a
       puddle under her back talons.  Bile rose in her throat.  She
       couldn't move.  Can't move— PLEASE— stoppleaseoh… “Botfly please
       you don't have to do this Botfly please I love you I love you  I
       love you please don't kill me~” Primal terror and desperation
       filled her as tears flooded from her eyes.
       She didn't want to be tortured to death.  Please.
       With sickening wet popping sounds, bolts of pain shot through
       Horsefly’s body, accompanied by the feeling of something being
       ripped out of her.  Yanked out of her spine.  Her spines fell to
       the ground, and blood began to trickle down her back.
       She gritted her teeth, stomach lurching in revulsion and agony.
       Tears poured down her face to join the blood and urine and bile
       on the floor.
       Paradox smiled blissfully.  “Oh, pain… you don't like it, do
       you?  So much…” —he raked his talons across her chest— “blood.”
       Horsefly shook violently.
       The hybrid walked behind her.  “These wings… in the way.  Let's
       get rid of them.”  With his own talons, Paradox grabbed
       Horsefly’s wing by the joint, wrenching it sideways.  The queen
       screamed in agony, trying to thrash around, but she was still
       frozen.  Horsefly was begging, begging for mercy, not even aware
       of anything but the feeling of utter horror that came with parts
       being wrenched out of your body.
       Paradox yanked once.  The wing popped out of its socket.  He
       yanked twice, and the tendons and muscles and ligaments ripped,
       blood spurting everywhere.  The animus twisted the appendage,
       and it tore away, a gaping black-red hole left in its place.  He
       tossed the severed wing into the corner.
       Horsefly screamed at the top of her lungs until she couldn't
       anymore, driven to a madness of her own by the pain.
       Paradox repeated the process with the other wing, Horsefly
       screeching until she sounded like her throat had been rubbed raw
       by sandpaper. Curiously, the animus stood over the two wings,
       peeling the membranes away from the skin.  “H-h-how silly,” he
       giggled, panting, eyes wide with utter ecstasy at the agony of
       his former lover.
       Horsefly vomited violently, emptying her stomach of everything
       as Paradox waved the severed wings around.  They still spurted
       blood when he held them upright.  “Y-you like?  Happy now?”  He
       laughed, a wild, childlike sound.
       Acidic bile dripped from Horsefly’s snout.  Blood continued to
       pour out the holes where her wings used to be.
       “A d-d-dragon without w-wings,” Paradox giggled again.  “You
       look… so beautiful!”
       Horsefly vomited one more time.  The fluid around her talons was
       a sickening yellow-green-red color.  “W-w-w-why—”
       Paradox splashed over, trembling himself.  He gently ran his own
       talons down Horsefly’s stomach, before slowly sticking his
       talons into the skin and flesh and muscles.  Blood squirted out
       around his claws.
       Horsefly gagged, choking, unable to scream anymore.
       Paradox yanked his talons up violently, tearing a jagged hole
       through Horsefly’s intestinal area, and the organs dropped out
       like huge, purple worms.
       They hung out, black blood pouring from the hole in disturbing
       chunks.  Horsefly made an indescribable sound of agony, the kind
       of sound a dragon makes when something irreparable happens
       inside them.
       Broken.
       Paradox gently took the exposed, hanging tangle of intestines
       and yanked them out, the parts dropping to the ground, coiling
       up and dripping fluids.  He grabbed and squeezed them, acid
       spraying all over Horsefly.
       She made the strangled, ruined sound again.  Paradox sliced
       through the intestines, squirting the contents into the growing
       puddle of yuck.  He took the hollow tubes and draped them around
       Horsefly’s neck.  The queen flinched horribly as they lay there
       like limp fleshy noodles, dripping fluid down her sides.
       Paradox shivered, wildly grinning.  He was beyond insanity now.
       He wasn't even a dragon anymore.
       “Mmm… love… delicious.  Pain… I want to feel.  Feel it.”
       Paradox ran his talons down his stomach, tearing it open, and
       his own intestines slithered out.  He lapped up the blood, eyes
       rolling up in his head as he moaned in ecstasy.
       Horsefly dry-heaved, and more blood poured out.
       Paradox staggered upright, drunken on his own pain.  He slashed
       Horsefly’s chest open, talon trembling wildly.  “So much blood…”
       the animus vomited in turn, black bile bubbling around his
       teeth.  He yanked Horsefly’s kidney out with a sucking sound.
       Blood sloshed around the floor…
       Shaking his head drunkenly, Paradox shoved his intestines back
       inside.  He swallowed the kidney whole, choking it down while
       giggling wetly.  “So sweet, sweet,” he gagged, trying to keep
       the rich meat down.
       Horsefly’s body spasmed.
       Paradox buried his face in the MudWing’s chest, taking huge
       swallows of blood, sliding his talons in between the lungs and
       ribs to snap the bones off.  They dropped to the ground, shards
       of white against the red…
       ~#~#~#~
       Panting a few feet away, Paradox ran a talon over his shredded
       abdomen and it closed with a burbling sound.  He closed his
       eyes, sighing at the release from the pain he loved, shivering
       violently.  He looked much less maniac than he had.
       “That was… incredible.  You’r-r-re delicious.  I want… more.”
       Tears pooled in Paradox’ eyes, he stared at the ruined carcass
       of Horsefly, still breathing and thinking and feeling.
       “Ggggghh…” the MudWing gagged on her own blood and vomit and
       urine.  Her face was planted in the puddle of yuck.
       Paradox walked over to stand on top of her, talons closing
       inside her flesh.  He ripped out chunks and gulped them down,
       until he could see bone.
       “Are you happy now?”  He asked himself.
       Shaking, he realized he didn't know.
       “Tell me you’re sorry,” he snarled at Horsefly.  The MudWing
       turned her head against her will, speech restored.
       “I-I-I-I’m so sorry.  I regret…” blood burbled up her throat and
       through her nose and ears and eyes, and she fell silent as the
       puddle around her grew.
       “You deserved to die.”  Paradox willed her to live, desperately.
       “N-not like this,” the queen gagged.
       Dark eyes flashing, Paradox felt a burning fire rise up inside
       him, fueled by the organs and flesh of his lover churning in his
       stomach.  He grinned, slowly, white scales rippling like an
       opal.  Yes.  Happy.  Revenge was his.  He told the hungry voice
       inside to be quiet, it was fed, it was fed…
       “My love,” he said quietly, rolling her over so the gaping hole
       torn in her chest was visible, ribs like a shattered cage over
       the beating heart.  “Everyone deserves to die like this.”
       And with that, he reached into the warm cavern of blood and
       flesh and drew out the heart, feeling the pounding of life
       falter and end forever under his fangs…
       When I was ten, I went through this "evil phase" and ever since
       this is nothing.
       I mean, if this had pictures I'd probably vomit, but without
       visuals this is pretty good.
       I have an insane animus OC, but she's a bit different. Instead
       of killing her lover she became insanely loyal to him. Her magic
       bends to his will, happy as long as he is. There are two
       versions of her mate though that I wright with, one who's evil,
       and one who wishes to quell her magic and restore her sanity.
