       First Impressions - Oneshot ~Rivulet~

       A younger Rivulet was strolling down the ocean shore at the edge
       of Slateport City, walking with a neon yellow fuzz ball on her
       shoulder. The two were sharing an ice cream cone together, when
       they heard a commotion up ahead. Joltik scrambled to eat the
       last of the ice cream, and she walked a little faster to see
       five men lifting barrels of waste in the direction of the ocean.
       What are they doing?, She thought, those look toxic! I can't let
       them do that!
       She whispered to Joltik to surround the men on the other side,
       and the little spider ran down her arm like lightning.
       "EXCUSE ME", she yelled to get there attention. All heads turned
       on her. "What are you doing?" She asked. They look at each
       other, murmured, then responded "Just bringing these barrels of
       fish food to the shore. A buddy is coming in a few minutes to
       pick it up."
       "Likely. Those are industrial grade metal barrels, used for
       waste containment or strong chemicals." Rivulet sent out her
       Pidgeotto, and the men released a Crawdaunt, Tentacool, Two
       Corpfish and a Linoone. They all called out attacks. Rivulet
       instructed Pidgeotto to dodge and keep it up. "Electro Ball! She
       shouted. One of the men chuckled, "Ha! Pidgeotto can't learn
       that!" But the bright yellow spheres of energy that launched
       from behind the men took them by surprise. A few of the Pokémon
       cringed from the super affective attack.
       Three strangely clothed people ran up to us, out of breath. They
       kinda looked like pirates. She felt like she had seen them
       before, somewhere on the news. They all looked at her, looked at
       each other, and released a group of Poochyena. They all called
       out for them to use Bite, and the rest of the Pokémon were
       finished off. The bad men went running, leaving the crates of
       toxins.
       One of the three trainers came over. "Smart thing to sneak up
       from behind. They didn't know what hit them." She said. "Well I
       couldn't stand there and do nothing," Rivulet replied, "Families
       come here to swim, and the Pokémon could have gotten really
       sick."
       Another member came over, the third right behind. "You really
       care, don't you? We do too." He said. "Um. Who exactly are you?
       You look familiar." Rivulet asked. "Were Team Aqua. Protectors
       of the sea. We make sure the ocean's stay safe from people like
       these-" He pointed to the barrels. "Were going to follow those
       guys back to the source and destroy it. Want to come?"
       Rivulet smiled. "I'd love to."
