       Modern ferals (Homo aes immitis) are one of the two extant
       members of the subtribe Homines, a branch of the tribe Hominini
       belonging to the family of great apes. They are characterized by
       erect posture and bipedal locomotion; high manual dexterity and
       heavy tool use compared to other animals; and a general trend
       toward larger, more complex brains but still reverting to a more
       animalistic mental stance when under stress. They also exibit a
       'quirk' of a prefdefined animal.

       In common usage, the word "feral" generally refers to the second
       species of the genus Homo aes—anatomically and behaviorally
       modern Homo aes immitis.
       The English noun 'feral' is an English slang word from the
