       A whispering grove of trees on the outskirts seems to call to
       you, and when you step into it you find yourself amidst many
       towering trees- birch, cottonwood, willow, and many others
       besides. A clear spring trails into a merrily gurgling stream.
       Off to the side of the spring lies a staircase woven of willow
       branches, and you climb up it to find yourself on a small porch
       just beneath the canopy, leafy branches arcing overheard. The
       doorway is made of a curtain of leaves, and peering through it
       you see a large collection of rooms, all among the trees, woven
       of branches and leaves.
       A girl is curled in a small chair of branches, hanging from a
       large cottonwood's bough, just outside the huge window in the
       room you're looking into. She looks through it to you and
       beckons, smiling at your wonderstruck look.
       "It is beautiful, isn't it," she says without waiting for you to
       say anything. "I made this place for rest, art, writing,
       reflection- anything you'd need. And of course you can talk to
       me anytime." Her dress, you note absently, is simple- a pair of
       jeans, a silken t-shirt, dark brown hair woven back into a
       braid, sandaled feet.
       Sitting on the table just inside the window is a plate of
       sweets, and she reaches out and plucks one from the tray,
       handing it to you with a twinkle in her teal eyes. "My name is
       Ruby Sky, and I hope you enjoy your visit here at my aerie."
       Because of course who doesn't like dramatic entrances? :D
       Anyways, basically this is my writing/art/oc dump (and I'll be
       setting up a regular art dump in the art thread at some point
       too, of course), and you can do what you like in it! (I mean,
       following the rules, of course, and being respectful.) .
