       i'm really scared atm

       severe thunderstorm warning for my area... i'm really really
       scared of thunderstorms and i'm more afraid of the power going
       out and it's starting to get dark...
       maybe this is a stupid problem but i don't know, it's serious to
       me

       grab some candles and some matches/a lighter/other light source
       if you think the power might go out. i dont know if your
       basement is prone to flooding, but if it isnt then basements are
       good places to get away from most of the loud stuff.
