Hatchet floated in place, in the dark midst of the Midnight
Ocean. Her eyes cut through the darkness, being able to see
through the dark.
Seeing no clear imprint of fish, she began to flash her
glow-in-the-dark scales. The bioluminiscence attracts a couple
ghostly white fish, which Hatchet quickly snatches up. She
gobbles them up ravenously. Poking the last fish remaining, she
realizes it's a hatchet fish. My namesake. It's like my parents
knew where I would end up~Hatchet's smile widens. Now
then...perhaps I should pay the surface a visit. Kidnapping a
couple of Seawing eggs...we'll be able to let those newborn
Seawings know the true Queen.

Shore began paddling away from the kingdom, into the colorful
coral reef nearby. Fish swam around in the reef, and Shore was
mesmerized by all the colorful fish. A sea turtle swam by, and
Shore was amazed.

(wait, but if Shore goes to a coral reef, wouldn't that be near
the surface? Coral needs sunlight)
(Also, anyone want to join in on Hatchet's kidnapping spree?)

Blue darted the other way, instead choosing to go up, finding a
strongish current heading her way and riding it. Once she
thought she was up high enough, she glances around, and once she
spotted a cove nearby that would help her scales to blend in,
she darted into it and stayed as still as possible, waiting for
a meal.

swam off to someplace he couldn't see them. The flashing of
scales caught his attention and he tilted his head to see
Hatchet grabbing a meal. He flicked his tail before swimming
over to her, not approaching her but getting close enough to
watch her.[/font]

Licking her lips, Hatchet swallowed the last of the fish. Her
eyes set on the surface, she began powerfully propelling herself
toward the Seawing Kingdom.

beeline toward the surface, not even watching for others. Now
then...where shall we strike?
Hatchet breaks the surface, flinching at the sudden burst of
light. The shining rays surprised her, intensifying as she
neared the surface. She basked in the sunlight for a couple of
minutes, relishing the warmth on her skin.[/font]
